Humpbacks have a wide geographic range and are found
in many of the world’s oceans. The have long flippers and tubercles on their heads. They have individual white patches and special markings that identify each one. Calves are 4-5m at birth, they grow up to 15m.

Swimmer’s mother was proud of her daughter. Swimmer noticed her mother beaming at her and swam closer. “Do you know where we are going? “Her mother asked.

The whale groups arrived at the meeting place just as the sun went down. They circled together, weaving between each-other in a dance. Swimmer and Marty were watching from the sidelines waiting for the signal from the parent whales

Swimmer spotted Marty with his flipper up in the air waving to her. “They are here,” he yelled.
“Its Silver, Alice and Fluke too!”. Swimmer dove to get a closer look, she could see Silvers fan shaped tail slapping the water. She saw Alice’s head, skimming across the water to meet them...
