“Hope is the hallmark of the human race that keeps us going. That lifts each of our languished bodies to stay afloat. That buoys the mind, body, and soul. Hope gives us the wherewithal to seek a path once again to cultivate what makes us happy. Hope leads to goals that generate growth and improvement, empowering us to envision a future.

My work is inspired by the HOPE that I see and feel as the pandemic recoils, pushed back and away. Although it has not been eradicated, we are hopeful that our lives are returning to what it was. Pre-Pandemic. Global society possesses the propensity to pursue life as it was.

No longer are we helpless hostages to its virulence. No longer are we forced into endless lockdowns that last forever. No longer are we forced apart from family and friends.

We now have vaccines that combat the covid virus. We now have the tools to use to keep this virus at bay so our freedoms will not be usurped and stolen from us ever again.

The permeating darkness has hope, has light. The light pieces the darkness, offering renewed opportunities and revived optimism. This revitalization creates re-energized strength to forge ahead. To restore the human spirit to soar! That each of us aspires to attain. The pervasive darkness is no longer. The hope, the light assuages as we once again have the will to live.

Hope is the eternal elixir that exemplifies the essence that each of us embodies. Hope is akin to the light at the end of a long dark tunnel. Hope conjures the resilience of humanity in the face of adversity.

Even in the darkest of darkness, a ray of hope is akin to a ray of life.”
