CV About me: How’s everybody? I am Artur Buonpater, a Brazilian born in São Paulo, where I lived most of my life, and where I chose to begin my studies in the area of ​​architecture, urbanism, influenced by the imposing and sometimes chaotic city, which always led me to reflect on the importance of architecture in every moment everyday life During these years dedicated to student occupation I always had in mind the importance of a solid, broad and creative formation. My main interests in the area of ​​architecture revolve around the areas of design, construction and technology, where the biggest challenge is to realize innovative changes of small or large size in the built space that can be timely and need to improve people’s lives. I have great interest in knowing new languages and ​​ new places. The Paranapiacaba complex project seeks to give a landscape and urban architectural response to growing demands of shelter / hotel / restaurant managers that builds a relationship with local topography and vegetation, which are undoubtedly material of enormous tourism potential. The project takes advantage of the synergy between the very strong ecotourism culture in the region and the need for shelter for its practitioners. Thus becoming a mediating apparatus between the natural space and the urban space.

Model The construction of the model was important in the process of choosing the implantation of the footbridge and of the shelter units, evidencing the topography and the landscape view.

Shelter The concept of a temporary shelter has been explored here to contain the minimum necessary and to take advantage of the maximum of the visuals and relations with nature, 360ยบ which can accommodate from 1 to 6 travelers.

The project party develops from the analysis of the site and the discovery of several visual axes of urban scale. Due to the limited size of the lot and its privileged location, it is proposed a large structure of media support that are proposed to be a new icon for the city. In its interior are intercalated closed exhibition places and external expositive areas, the voids that construct the mediation between the enclosed spaces generating incredible successive balconies ideal for larger escultures and exhibition

Diagram and section The style of flooring itself builds the connection between public space and the coffe shop that uses the void between the building to create a unique space.

Valparaiso fundation building, Valparaiso - Chile

The project building foundation Valparaiso, as the name shows it was an initiative of building a headquarters for the foundation idealizeed in the 50`s that propose the restoration and later cultural and artistic activitis throughout Valparaiso. The main party adopted in the project consists of the construction of two buildings, one of cultural (public) and one for administrative use, and the construction of a new access to the upper levels, which could have a more contemplative character as well as llows appropriation by its users and artists.

The side plan creates a new connection of levels and generates two new spaces of greater conviviality and other spaces of reduced scale, as well as the space destined to artistic manifestations and the administrative area that is located in the most vertical building of the set Side plan / Model


Views: The materiality and diversity of spaces that make up the city’s landscape were important aspects during design decisions like graphite and use of wood as a primeri construction material .
