Matanga Hill To start day in Hampi, Matanga hill is the best spot (Tallest hill in Hampi). Breathtaking view of sunrise and to feel the Hampi’s spiritual aura sacrifice your sleep and start climbing the Matanga hill early morning. One can see the whole Hampi village, Tungabhadra river along with all the small hills and rows of coconut trees from top of the hill.
Achyut Raya Temple The temple has dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is the last consecrated temple in the Hampi, before the fall of Vijayanagara empire. Built with Vijayanagara style architecture. One can see this view with greenery, after the month of September from Matang hill.
Sunset Point
A small hill next to Sasivekalu Ganesha temple is good spot for meditation. This hill is also known as sunset point, as it offer's a great sunset view behind the village & tiny stone hills.
Vithala Temple The famous stone chariot along with Vithoba’s Temple (god Vishnu/Krishna’s avatar). These temple and stone chariot lighten up during Hampi festival in November.
Elephant Stables
Royal elephants used to stay in this monument. During royal ceremonies mahouts make them ready with ornaments in these chambers.
Hazara Rama Temple As ramayana story has been carved on the walls of temple, it got named Hazara Rama temple. It has beautiful mandpa on three sides, all the pillars as well external wall has decorated with ramayana story.
