Celebrating artists and makers across the Lewes District
7th - 22nd September 2024
A warm welcome to the 2024 Artwave guide, with details of exhibitions taking place from 7th - 22nd September.
Our annual festival of artists and makers extends across the Lewes District, with venues in Lewes, Seaford, Peacehaven, Telscombe Cliffs, Newhaven and the surrounding villages.
Now in our 31st year, Artwave continues to be one of the largest visual arts festivals in the South East, connecting hundreds of artists and makers with tens of thousands of appreciative viewers and visitors each year.
We hope you will find this guide useful in planning your 2024 Artwave visits. We are delighted to have more than 160 venues in the 2024 festival, with free-to-visit exhibitions in private homes, studios, potteries, windmills, railway stations, farms and churches, many of them opening their venues for the first time.
So, thank you for joining us in championing artists and makers, shopping local and supporting our brilliant creative community. We look forward to seeing you out on the trails.
Thanks, too, to all our generous sponsors, local businesses, and all the creatives who take part. You make Artwave possible.
