Having studied design for 2.5 years at an Indian design school and now for 2 years at an International design school, I have had the best of both worlds. Exposure to a wide variety of people, contexts, situations, thought processes and design methodolgies has given me a unique set of rational and emotional skills. To accentuate my ability to work well in both an Indian and a global context, my portfolio is divided into 4 main parts: Design for the Indian context, Design for the Global Context, Fusion of the two, and Skills that I have picked up along the way.

STORYTELLING Each bag has a story behind it: WHO made it? WHERE did it come from? HOW was it made? My goal was to create this story! I travelled to the weaver’s villages, interacted with them and documented various aspects to create the base for a holistic story that highlighted many different aspects right from the social to the technical.
