It is my aim to be par t of the community responsible for improving living standards in this world. Keypoint to my focus in the coming stages of my professional career is to integrate the idea of sustainability and technology advancement in building typology especially in details which prove functional yet aestethically intriguing. As architecture become more socially and economically fused among growing cities, it is also imperative that the built environment imbues on healthier living, thus calling on all-rounded sensitive design strategies.

Imagining the Market City through the collaging the programs, existing industrial elements and ideas
HOW THAT ISSUES RESPONS IN ARCHITECTURAL WAYS This project is to design an industrial building which is not outdated and has a value in it through the engaging the social space in the building. I’m interested in testing and investigate the new typology of the industr y and pushing the boundaries of the market with the combination of public realm such as plazas, open amphitheater and commercial area to create a potential that has a quality to become an activity center that surround the market. Then, from the combinations, the question of how the space interact and how the building experiment the transparency of the combination.
Like what the diagram show is the collaging what are the activities happens in the building that combine the industrial and public realm where the people can experience ever y space in the building

In ever y space in of the building is combine both of the programs and spaces. For examples in these views ( p o i n t t o t h e p e r s p e c t i v e s ) t h e i n d u s t r i a l a n d p u b l i c u s e i n o n e s p a c e a n d a d j a c e n t t o e a c h o t h e r. S o t h e p e o p l e indirectly can experience both of the programs in one space. The strategies of the combinations of industrial use and public realm are taken from the spatial interpretation of the fish movement and people movement that mixed up in the building. As you can see from the sectional perspective, industrial use and public realm are arranged alternately and the open plaza is to bring the people from the Lorimer St directly to the water front developments which celebrate the water front activities with the building as a background that por trays the activities inside. From the plan, in terms of responsiveness to the surrounding context, the 3 axis that cross in t h e p l a n w i l l d i r e c t s t h e p e o p l e i n s i d e t h e b u i l d i n g a n d t o t h e e d g e o f t h e w a t e r. F o r e x a m p l e s ( a x i s 1 , 2 , 3 t o t h e i r o w n s p e c i f i c a c t i v i t y – a x i s 1 t o t h e a m p h i t h e a t e r, a x i s 2 t o Ya r r a s q u a r e , a x i s 3 t o h a r b o u r b a t h ) w h i c h a l l t h e water front activities merge with water and land. In the section, ever y level of this building are interlocked with the fish space so they become as a one complex circulation and space. From this strategy as we can see from this perspective, the people can see ever y multiple level of the building in one spot of location so they can see the transparency of the programs and activities.

WHAT IS CONCLUSION FORM THE PROJECT? This two opposite combination which is industrial use ( more on ser vices and resources) and public/ leisure inter vention (social inter vention). Both of the relationship is being explored in terms of lessening the separation between public and private, engaging the social space and industrial space, and outside and inside of the space. This project provides all the needs of the both of the programs and spaces that successfully combine in one building and acts as a new architectural piece.

ISSUES
12.00am
Sunshine is a dispersed centre, with different land uses and development spread out over a large area and it is rapidly evolving from a subregional catchment into an activity district. Lacking on public spaces driving the community in searching a r e v i t a l i s e c e n t e r, p u b l i c a r e a s a n d h i g h e r q u a l i t y development including attention to building design. The boundar y that split the opposite site also create an issues of Sunshine. The railway lines c r e a t e a n u n b a l a n c e o p p o s i t e a r e a i n t h e c i t y. Lacking the infrastructure that combine the opposite site makes there are an obvious differences in terms of the developments and social culture.
