We were on the hunt for a homozygous black and polled herdsire that would enhance value both on paper and in phenotype. As Doug Bichler stated in his footnotes, “Study his data and EPD’s, you don’t usually find this combination with the phenotype he has.” Bulls like NightCap are hard to find and harder to own once you find them. NightCap’s personal performance is top-tier, also 83 lbs at birth, 798 at weaning, and 1221 at a year, ultrasound data that excels indexing 115 for IMF, 133 for BF and 102 for REA to measure 14.86. His sire Manifesto was a $62,000 sale-topper and has added value to his sons, some have likewise posted the top-selling position in sales. We are very excited to own this elite breeding bull.
