P R O J E C T B A S E This project is e based on the role of interior design of prisons , detention and rehabilitation centers in order to understand how we could develop a project for ex-convicts that is a place for both rehabilitation and reintegration to the community.

P R O B L E M According to the General Directorate of Prisons of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabi, In (2010)there was (19435) prisoners ,Saudis prisoner's percentage is 46.4%. The highest prisoner percentage was in Riyadh with {2867} prisoners representing 31.8% .

S O L U T I O N Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in KSA mentioned as one of their goals for 2030 vision, "where we offer to raise the awareness of citizens, improve their standard of living and create the foundations for a decent life for them in the context of preserving spiritual and moral values and supporting them to build an integrated, advancing society". Ex-convicts are part of the society.

L I T E R A T U R E R E V I E W E V I D E N C E The problem discusses several topics that aim to improve the reform efforts and provide specific programs to suit the individual and the community. In addition to reducing recidivism, rehabilitation programs can also serve other related goals, such as improving overall prisoners well-being and improving there educational realization as well as employment preparation programs that provide employment skills. (Taylor,2017). -Programs encourage the released to adapt to the normal life in the society from which they were separated for a certain period during the implementation of the punishment, through a program that depends to prepare the ex-convicts for a transitional phase, in a way that leads to his integration properly in the society .(General Directorate of Prisons in KSA ,2020).

P R O J E C T R E L A T I O N T O S A U D I V I S I O N

The workplace is more than improving productivity, it is about human right and ex-convicts has the right to work as the National Transformation Program 2030 aims to raise the standard of living services provided to individual and non-profit beneficiaries by improving the system of social services and health care and safety levels . The reintegration of ex-convicts is an investment into social programs as one of the best and most cost-effective ways to build healthy ,safe & conscious community , with significant benefits not only for the individuals worried but also for public safety, all to have the ambition of vibrant society . ((vision 2030 org ,2020).

P R O J E C T G O A L

The project is designed to address the underlying issues that brought ex-convicts in the first place to the prison then will try to solve it to stop the cycle for going back to the prison ,to better prepare them for a successful transition back into society after release. Since we have this huge number after prison period is a very important phase ,where there is a chance to help, teach and rehabilitee them, where we raise the awareness of citizens, improve their standard of living physically psychologically and educationally and increasing the employment opportunity to create the foundations for a decent life and supporting them to build an integrated and advancing society.

Newton's Third Law of motion :For every action, there is an equal reaction. The statement can explain our life journey, where each stage in our life will affect our outcomes, where in this project we will make the good actions to gain the good reactions from the ex-convicts . The concept is inspired from the newton's cradle balls ,which shows how community affect the ex-convicts and in return how the ex-convicts affect the community . The design will show contemporary organic style by applying simple math elements, repetition ,reflectiveness , calm and nature colors .

Upon case studies the space programming was divided into four sections :administration ,physical ,psychological and educational &training building . The space planning was aimed to lead the visitors in ordered services . Also inspired from the concept where each buildings' services affect the other (action and reaction ).
