Anne Springs Close Greenway Summer Recreation Guide

SUMMER 2021

OUR MISSIO N

Connect people to nature through recreational and educational activities while fostering a passion for environmental conservation, animal habitat, and protection of natural resources. We aim to preserve a place for people to celebrate and experience nature for generations to come.

Welcome to the Anne Springs Close Greenway Several days into my tenure here, I heard a staff member say, “we foster conservation through recreation and education,” and that instantly became the decision-making filter. “Is it good for the land?” “Are we getting folks outside?” “Are we educating all walks of life about the importance of water quality, the Schweinitz’s sunflower, or the habitat of the bobwhite quail?” As we look to 2021 and beyond, we are grateful for you and your relationship with the Greenway. We know that these relationships look different for everyone and we hope that we can meet you where you are and prove a beneficial recreational experience for you and your family.

JOHN GORDON COO of Leroy Springs & Company, Inc & Executive Director of Anne Springs Close Greenway
