The Ascot Racecourse style podcast – PERSONAL THREADS – uncovers how moments and memories from our past can inform our present-day personal style, particularly when it comes to occasion dressing and what we decide to wear when we face the world at our most seen.

Anecdotal and story-led, each episode sees our hosts Scott Wimsett and Susan Bender meet a new guest and take us on a journey through life and personal style stopping at key moments, memories, items or people who have impacted and brought together each guest’s unique sense of style.

Guests of the 2022 series include Paul O’Grady MBE – English comedian, broadcaster, actor and writer, Alice Temperley MBE – world renowned fashion designer, and David Gandy – English fashion model, designer and creative director.

Hosted by fashion industry commentator Scott Wimsett – whose career in TV and online has spanned almost 20 years from presenting for MTV, ITN and Vogue TV – alongside creative consultant, stylist and contributing editor to British Vogue Susan Bender Whitfield whose experience ranges from styling editorial shoots for magazines to working on catwalk shows with luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana. Scott and Susan are Ascot TV’s presenters at this year’s Royal Meeting. They will be broadcasting live from the racecourse talking to stylish racegoers and spotting all the racing fashion trends.
