CHAIRMAN'S WELCOME David Morris gives his latest thoughts ahead of today's match
David Morris CHAIRMAN'S WELCOME
Good afternoon and welcome to today’s visitors from Darlaston Town 1874. Darlaston sit above us in the table and we

still have to visit their place so today is vital for both sides and it should be a cracker.
I thought we played very well at Paget Rangers last Saturday and our finishing from Sam and Chris was of the highest quality so hopefully we can see some more of that today.
We are hoping the weather has been kind to us over the week, as you will know our pitch can prove problematic with excessive rain, it’s something we are well aware of and working hard to address. I have to pay tribute to our long suffering groundsman Ian Irving who works tirelessly to get our games on for Seniors, Juniors and the Saturday morning soccer school, we can’t say it often enough but, thank you Ian !
We have tried a new initiative todays and reached out to many local businesses and sponsors to invite them to attend today’s game, so if you are new to The NFU “experience” we hope you enjoy it and will hopefully come back again !
As always I’ll close by wishing Andy and the lads all the best for today’s game, we have 9 games left to secure a place in the play offs which would be tremendously exciting for everyone.
Thanks for your support it’s much appreciated.
Dave Chairman
