CHAIRMAN'S WELCOME

Good afternoon and welcome to today’s game against Lichfield Coty FC and may I extend a warm welcome to their players, officials and supporters and hope we all enjoy a good game.

May I start by reminding everyone watching today to ensure that you take full responsibility for following the guidelines we have in place on track and trace and social distancing when around the ground. This is really important to us as a club to ensure that you follow the guidance to ensure everyone’s safety. There will be regular announcements over the tannoy reminding you of social distancing and if you can police this yourselves and support us then we may see the game we are here to watch carry on each week without interruption of another wave. Please follow the guidelines and if you are unsure speak to one of our groundstaff here today.

Last saturdays game was a great start for the team and the boys came out on top 3-0 and looked strong throughout. The away trip to Brocton was a tough visit based on last years results but the boys again worked hard and fought as a team and were deserved of a point away. The winners that night however were the mosquitoes that seemed to score a fare few hits on the players and spectators.

Today we have some player mascots walking out with the players and these players represent our Under 10’s so we welcome them to the game and hope they all enjoy the experience.

Ps – if you are visiting the ground by car please DO NOT OBSTRUCT the junction to Cambrian Way by parking on the grass/path verge as this is both dangerous and you could get a fixed penalty notice from the Council and or Police.
