FIRST TEAM UPDATE

Hello all.

Since my last notes we suffered our first defeat of the season. The 3-4 scoreline may have been entertaining for the neutral but we as a group were left very disappointed with our performance and ultimately the result.

Including pre-season we had gone 9 games unbeaten and i think we went into the game a little over confident. We started very well but after taking the lead we started to play a style of football which isn't how we normally play and train. That lead us to the halftime scoreline of 1-4!!

A couple of changes and a better second half saw us reduce the arrears but unfortunately it was too little, too late.

We have since had 11 days to train and get back to what we do best. The players have accepted the mistakes made by all and today we look to put things right.

Today's opponents provide us with another tough challenge, as all teams in this league do. We welcome Heath Hayes to the NFU and hope they enjoy their visit.
