Mayor Cllr Callum Knowles, who cut the ribbon on the big day was joined by four little helpers and was given blessing scarves to wear by the local Nepalese community. Free ice cream was a big hit!

PLAY AREAS
Over 150 people attended the event including local councillors and stakeholders, following on from a consultation with local residents and school children in early 2020. The results were used to shape the final design for the new play area.
