The 7th grade ELA teachers had the pleasure of observing Audrey Wilson-Youngblood, their district curriculum coordinator, deliver a model lesson in Ms. Slay’s 1st-2nd block. This was such a powerful professional development exercise for teachers and benefited the students simultaneously!

Showcase classroom

7th grade math students in Mr. Bagford’s class line up by height to create a human box plot. The meaning of quartile and outliers really comes to life for the kids!
