White Castleâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s original headquareters is located in Columbus Ohio and is soon to have a new face for the main office. The new location will be located on Goodale. The building will also consist of a Community Center as well as an underground parking garage. The elevation as well as the floor plans have been carefully thought through. Thinking of new ways to give an offcie space a more fun and innovative feel. The potential is to expand the building into a campus in the near future.

Building Information Modeling had taught me as an individual a great amount in Revit. Walking through Ohio Stateâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s campus and verifying that the floor plans that were once all drawn in AutoCAD were now going to be remade into a 3D model. The next new step in technology that Architectâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s are taking. Learning the basic commands in Revit and then slowly adding and learning how to add custom pieces to these complex buildings.

Mexico City U.S Embassy Gui Competition

The embassy in Mexico City wants others to feel welcome. Each individual will experience a different feeling while being here. The building representing the United States is unique and eloquent with pattern and pristine design. One may have a sublime and awing experience breathing in the exterior wrapper of the building. The drive and want to enter is beneath the skin where eagerness awaits. This building pertains to how a surface should be opened versus closed or as well as warm versus cool. When approaching the entrance shows a high contrast of shadows from the simple angles of the structrual concrete with the clear glass curtain wall. In plan the exterior shows a thick and righ depth as well as light and airy. Entering the embassy simple angles graudally ease into slanted floor plates. The warm light from the Mexico sun slowly turns cool towards the center of the building. Suddenly, walking south the floor plates abruptly shoot up making a penetration above its surrouidngd. Coming back from the ground level that same low deep breathe comes into place when easing into the simple angles and floor plates for a second time. The simple angles section is similar to North America, the section shows that the left and right are similar just as how the United States and Mexico are from the same continent while viewing the middle shown that these two countries are very different from one another.

Ivrea Italy once encountered with thousands of employees who worked for Olivetti typwriters has now left several factories and housing vacant. With a new reuse for each of the buildings. The building shown in this project once housed all of the great type writers. Now vacant the reuse for this builging will be a Conference Center with two main courtyards and a public lobby for the new modern hotel that is attached on the first and second floor.

Holmes County Community Center

Holmes County is a lush atmosphere. Known for its rolling hills and Amish farming. The county would like to bring the community closer by adding a vicinity especially for them. The center will include a large theatre space that can accompany two hundred guests as well as an art room, digital printing, dance classes, physical fitness space, gallery, and much more for the entire family to enjoy.

A home for Jeff located in one of Ohio State’s many small pocket parks. A pavilion is built to locate Jeff, a fossilized structure of a rare mammal donated to Columbus. Now located in Orton Hall on campus.
