1. Emergency lighting and exit signs shall be circuited to the existing base building emergency panel. 2. Provide separate neutral wires for emergency lighting and exit sign circuits. 3. Refer to architectural reflected ceiling plan for exact fixture locations for general lighting. Exit sign and emergency lighting shall be based on the engineering plans. Submit existing and emergency lighting layout to city per specifications and adjust locations if so directed. 4. Coordinate the exact mounting of all exit signs with architect and interior designer prior to ordering. Coordinate with door swing, obstructions, etc. to avoid conflicts.

All electrical components shall conform to the applicable requirements and standards, shall be UI listed and shall comply with requirements of the National Electrical Code. 13. The contractor shall submit to the owner for review the following: Drawings, product specifications and wiring connection diagrams together with installation instructions, operating and maintenance manuals, field check-out, start-up and testing procedures for all equipment furnished. 15. No pull-chain fixtures as per code. 16. Provide minimum two small appliance circuits in kitchen.

Natural lighting is utilized during the day. Daylighting systems are installed.

Recessed Ceiling Fixture 1. All work shall comply with code. 2. Provide complete electrical system, including new electrical service, meter panels, wiring, conduit, outlets and wall boxes. 3. All wiring to be copper, min. 14 guage 4. Provide disconnect switch and wiring for all mechanical equipment. 5. Provide smoke and carbon monoxide detector units as per city code and as indicated on drawings. Hardwire all detector units. 6. Wall switches and outlets shall be 250 volts, 15 AMP or 20 AMP as required. All kitchen GFI outlets to be 20 AMP. 7. All outlets in toilet rooms, outdoor locations, mechanical room and within 6' of the kitchen sink must be GFI. Toilet rooms shall be on a separate circuit. 8. Connect all appliances and equipment as per city code. 9. All light swithches to be mounted at 48" AFF unless noted. 10. All thermostats to be mounted at 60" AFF and humidistats at 58" AFF unless noted otherwise.
