DEFINITION OF A RUNNER For those on our team that are RUNNING with their business. These members have specific goals and the desire to reach them within a specific timeline. This booklet outlines the incentives, trainings, and resources available to our Runners! At any point someone may decide to “run” with their Young Living business. We want to ensure they have every resource necessary to do so.
RUNNER REQUIREMENTS: • Complete the Action Plan for your level and keep up with it monthly • Meet monthly with your Upline Mentor • Turn in your Monthly Review to Ashley (Ashley.McBoyd@me.com) • Have completed or be in our 12 week Breakthrough training

INCENTIVES MONTHLY Every month two runners will be chosen (1 Dist-Exec., 1 Silver+) that makes brave choices to step out and work their business consistently, without excuse, and in spite of fears. Prizes will be special oils you cannot get in the US market, right now. A few potential oils for these monthly contests are:

DIAMOND CALLS Every Month from January to July, we will have a call with a Diamond or above leader specifically for OUR team. To earn an invitation to the call each month, runners must keep up with their Action Plan and email their Monthly Review to Ashley Boyd (Ashley.McBoyd@me.com) by the 2nd of that month. Even if you are not hitting your goals, you earn a spot on these calls just by staying invested in your business.

ACTION PLANS Crucial to your success is creating and implementing an Action Plan. We have adapted these plans from what Young Living challenges their top leaders with. There are two separate plans: One for Distributor-Executive and one for Silver and above. The goals set in these plans are STRETCH goals. They are BIG, but we want to create a brave culture in our organization that goes for big goals. You are here for accountability to stretch and grow your business. These plans help give you a target and a way to track your progress.

2. SIGN UP FOR THE 12 WEEK BREAKTHROUGH GROUP This 12 week training is for idea sharing and accountability. If you can’t commit to this, you are not ready to be a Runner.
3. SCHEDULE A MONTHLY CALL WITH YOUR UPLINE MENTOR For Accountability and Encouragement.
4. CONNECT WITH YOUR CROSSLINE PARTNER ON FACEBOOK For idea sharing, encouragement, and accountability.
5. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROGRESS Overall on your Action Plan, and more in-depth on your monthly review.
6. USE MONTHLY REVIEW SHEETS FOR ACCOUNTABILITY Each month track your COMPLETED Activities that line up with Young Living’s Essential 8 to ensure you are doing the things you need to do to reach your goals.
7. SUBMIT YOUR MONTHLY REVIEWS FOR DIAMOND CALLS The Diamond Call link will ONLY be shared with those who have submitted their monthly reviews to Ashley by the 2nd of the month (Ashley.McBoyd@me.com)
8. SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED ACTION PLAN At the end of June, those who submit their completed action plans (Ashley.McBoyd@me.com) will be entered for Grand Prizes. Those who reach their goal will earn a ticket to Diamond Bound.

YOUR WHY It is imperative that you know WHY you want to grow a Young Living business. There are challenges and obstacles that will come up along the way that can derail you from working toward your goals. The more connected you are to WHY you want to grow this business, and the more you believe the difference it will make in your life and the lives of those around you, the easier it will be to push through when things get difficult. 
 
 You can take these thought activities and use them as a base to create a vision board to keep in front of you at all times. It is important to think about how you want to FEEL, and base your vision board on that feeling.

STRUCTURE Understanding how to Structure your business for success is extremely important. Here is a guide to walk you through building to the Rising Star Bonus. Understand that this is a representation of a “perfect” downline… which doesn’t exist. Do this, AND teach it to your leaders.
START WITH YOURSELF You must be on Essential Rewards and order 100 PV every month. This is crucial to your success in Young Living because it allows you to earn ALL compensation. More than that, it gives you experience with the products, so you can fall in love with them and have your own stories to share with others.
STAR Star level requires 500 OGV. You want to build 3 legs at 300 OGV per leg and at least 100 PV on ER at the top of each leg in order to structure properly. A leg is any member signed up directly under you, and their entire team. Earn 1 share of the Rising Star Bonus (1% of all YL commissionable sales for that month, averages $40-50.)

SENIOR STAR To hit Senior Star you need 2,000 in OGV. At this point you want to begin building two more legs for a total of 5 legs. With 3 legs at 300 OGV or more you earn 1 share, add 2 legs at 500 OGV and you earn 2 additional shares, for a total of 3 shares (worth $120-150.) These shares stack on top of one another, so you have the first 3 legs filled and earned before you can earn the 2 shares for two 500 legs.
EXECUTIVE To hit Executive, you need 4,000 OGV and 2 legs at 1,000 OGV (this is the first rank where leg volume matters for hitting rank.) At this point you want to add two additional legs and build two of your legs to 1,000 OGV. If you have all of these spots filled with the minimum amount of OGV and 100 PV in an ER order at the top of the leg‌ you will earn an additional 3 shares for a total of 6 shares (worth $240 - 300.)

2. SHARE AND SHOW YOUNG LIVING Share personal experiences on social media, schedule classes, & set up one on ones.
3. HELP OTHERS Know your network and offer solutions that are personal through one on ones and wellness consultations. Share resources and be open to helping crossline teams.
4. FOLLOW-UP AND FOLLOW-THROUGH Follow-up with each and every new contact in a real and personal way. Make commitments and keep them.
5. PARTICIPATE IN AND CREATE YL ACTIVITIES Attend Live Your Passion Rallies, Convention, and other YL activities. Create opportunities for your team to participate in these opportunities.
6. CELEBRATE PROGRESS Find ways to celebrate you and your team’s successes, create opportunities to call out achievements.
7. BE ABOUT ACTION EVERYDAY Manage calendar, examine ways to optimize your time, set and achieve weekly goals and remove excuses.
