Since I have finished my study about finance at College in Viet Nam. I, Nhu Thien Le, realized how passionate I was about interior design. Putting everything away, I decided to left my country, Vietnam to went aboard to Vancouver, Canada to pursued my dream. As a proficient Interior Design student under LaSalle College Vancouver. I try my best to learn as much as knowledge which implement my career in the future as well as combine simple ideas to complex ideas in every project by passionate heart of Design.

Ashley residential apartment is located on Downtown, Vancouver. There are family with two little girls and parent. They love modern, minimalist design vibe and natural look. Mother loves cooking and reading books. Father loves working in the office and hanging out with his kids in the living room.

DESIGN CONCEPT
Ashley’s residential apartment is inspired by modern vibe with natural look. The design key goes with “ movement of nature” which mean using lots of natural light and wood materials in the apartment but not overwhelming. Taking it back from nature will be brass gold finish in order to bring warm astmosphere into an apartment. The fundamental goal for this project also combine with harmony and portion of apartment. Lighting will be the most of focal point in entire apartment which bring value, beauty and modern vibe into concpet that Ashley’s family go forward . Ashley residential apartment is also based on selection of material and textile. In the way, an apartment will be revealed in certain of natural look.

1. Ashley’s Residential Apartment Floor Plan The design idea about floor plan is funtional circulation which will create the flow for the apartment. Kitchen, living room and office will be the main areas to be focus on the most due to the family’s hobbies. Mother likes cooking, reading books, father likes working in the office and hanging out with kids in the living room. The apartment will be divided into two zone - private zone and social zone. The idea is created by symmetrical inspiration which is divided by office and bathroom. The circulation will be easy for guest as well as the family.

Ashley’s residential apartment floor plan fully render is not only showing more the circulation of the apartment’s point of view from the kitchen to the bedroom, but also showing materials which are following the family’s taste - nature, modern vibe. To be creative in design ideas, the apartment uses the combination of three elements - cicrculation, lighting and materials. Wood beam on the living room is installated 12’ after finish floor to create the focal point for the apartment. Moreover, wood materials is used a lot from the kitchen to master bedroom to create more nature in the apartment.

3. Kitchen Kitchen is designed by modern, black wood vibes, combine with brass handles and blue - brown marble to create the impressive design for the family when they first come back to their apartment. Brass hood is designed to be the focal point for the kitchen to catches guests’s eyes. Getting an inspiration from nature, chrome wood will layout from the kitchen floor to the living room and the office, combine with some natural decoration from small plants with create the good mood for family everytime they stay at home.

Masterbathroom is designed by modern vibe with marble tile wall, combine with blue - brown marble backsplash which is same as kitchen counter top to show the connection for the apartment. The vanity is customized by dark brown wood with some plants for decoration and brass faucet will bring naural feeling for family not only taking a shower but also relaxing. Pendant lights will be the focial points for the master bathroom which is designed by brass material to show the modern vibes.

G Next was the frist established womanwear on 12th February, 1982 in UK with the desire of expanding their stores in the UK from one city to the next. Following to fashion and interior trend each year, Next now is located in more than 70 contries wordwide, such as Japan, London, Germany, Liverpool with variety of man clothing, woman clothing, children clothing and home furnitures. With the big change of interior’s trend, Next is the first high - end fashion boutique in Canada which is located in 540 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. Next is designed with modern. luxury’s vibe which invites customers professionally to shop in the store. More importantly, the location on Granville is busiest location for fashion boutique which has a lot of competiors, so the interior design of Next will be the strength of the high - end brand.

1. Next’s fashion boutique on Granville, Vancouver, British Columbia. Next is designed from the inspiration of “ the cycle of globalization” concept. The concept means Next and customers will be family to increase the economy and profit for the world every year like a cycle. Moreover, the concept also shows that everywhere customers go, they will see Next near by like a cycle. Based on that, Next is designed by round shape in the middle of the store to be the main focal point which divides the floor plan into two parts - front for social zone and back for working zone. The floor plan was designed by symmetrical ideas for man’s zone and woman’s zone. As a result, the circulation of the store will flow logically that helps customers to find their zone easily. Moreover, Next also provides some support zone for customers - bar, washroom in order to be welcome customers.

With the idea of opening the first high - end store worldwide, Next makes the big change in their design which they have not done that before. The design goes with brass chrome finishes for clothing racks. combine with marble floor finishes in the main entrance and go along through the bar area to the cashier area. It will strongly catch customers’ eyes. Furthermore, the wood floor finish is designed to make harmony for the store due to the strength of marble and brass chrome’s vibes.

The idea of the bar is designed with round glass wall shape in the middle of the store. The aim of design is to bring the relaxing feeling to customers but they can still see the activie around the store. Furthermore, the bar is the main point to divide two different zones - apparel zone and working zone. So, it not only helps customers to know the circulation but also workers to control the store.

The idea of the handbag display area is differnt from other design. The design is based on neutral look which use the grey color schemes instead of brass gold and marble finishes. It will create the harmony for the store and help customers to relax their eyes after seeing a lot of strong design in the main entrance area.

With the brass finish, the item display area will support the waiting area when customers wait for cashier. It not only helps the customers to have more option in their items but also helps the store to get more profit from the display area.

The waiting area is design with purple tones instead of the navy blue in the begining idea. The big change is based on the harmony with brass gold, marble finishes because the navy blue combine with brass gold finishes will lead to overwhelmed of the store. So, choosing purple schemes will help the design to be balanced.

Harrison Hot Spring Resort is open a new located in Rocky Mountain Vancouver . About the ideas of location, Harrision Hot Spring Resort wants to bring the fresh air of the mountain and nature around. People can go there by train and car which are convenience.
