FRAME HOUSE
The site is located in a busy commercial area and near a high crime-rate neighborhood which raises a security issue. My clients are an IT Engineer, a Web designer and their baby boy. Both parents often telecommute while taking care of their child at home. For me, home should be a secure and comfortable place where the family can spend quality time. Thus, my concept is to provide a sense of security where the family can have visual access to each other from anywhere in their home. I created an interlocking system (walls and floor). The interlocking system creates boundaries to separate the spaces but also combines different activity areas. I started to program different activities in the center of the interlocking system within five larger zones. Functionally, the interlocking walls and floors become a desk, dining table, shelves, seating area, storage or passage through each zone. For example, a parent can use the frame as a work zone while the child can share the same frame as a passage to the loft or study zone. Thus, they are visually connected to one another at all times. The interlocking system accommodates recessed lights which are located above or below the frame walls. It will release a soft subtle glow, which blurs the boundaries of the room and allow the spaces to appear larger than they actually are.

VIA OFFICE
The site is located at 390 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York city (21,452 sq.ft). I wanted to design an office where people can interact and create their own culture. I considered mainly providing communal spaces (such as stairs with seating, a long open work station and flexible arrangement of furnishings) rather than a typical company. The client, SONOS, encourages its employees to be creative and to communicate by holding events such as live music shows and art installations. For them, I tried to create communal spaces for collaborative work and social meetings. I developed a simple and dynamic filter box with a coil shape which has acoustic properties. Also, there is a pair of sliding folding doors which help to combine or separate the rooms. The coil structure runs throughout the entire space, and the ceiling panels improve the acoustics. The coil structure ripples into major areas which can be enclosed private spaces, open spaces or furniture. My intention was to keep the office space open while providing the ability to create private space using the sliding folding doors. Functionally, the coil structure became built-in furniture for providing communal space. I wanted to keep the feeling of simplicity and innovation that SONOS inspires by integrating simple design elements.

3rd Floor is mainly for SONOS visitors. Therefore, right side of this floor is mostly consisted with conference rooms and meet-
ing spaces. The main features in 3rd floor are display area and stairs with seating area. Display panels are 3 separated shelves that pivot from a central point and prompt the visitors to experience SONOS products. Also, stairs with seating area can transformed another informal meeting space where employees and clients can communicate. The coil structure in 3rd Floor is a bigger movement as a mass that creates the Spaces. Instead of regular size of zoning, space get bigger as you go inner within the coil structure.
COIL STRUCTURE AT 3RD FLOOR PLAN
4th Floor is mainly for employees which focused on working space. . The main feature in 4th floor is the open work station
and the snack bar area. The coil structure in 4th Floor became desks with moderated privacy. This built-in furniture keeps the movement of coil structure. It provides flexibility and freedom to employees to work. Therefore employees do not have work in the blocked space. According to my experience, the Kitchen or snack bar is another space where people can gather and communicate each other. Thus, I provided the snack bar which is installed in open space. It is located near by the lounge area so that keeps away from the space where requires less noise.

I.A.V (INTERIOR ART VILLAGE) Due to the rapid social changes, art is an essential aspect which helps people to recover and to revitalize their anxiety and exhausting life. My concept is the idea that resilience is based on connective and cooperative systems which parts affectively create and support the whole. To create a resilient society is everyone needs to contribute and Art and culture are the backbone of the society. My purpose is about revitalizing the low income artist’s creativity in New York City, specifically; performers and installation artists. I intend on doing this by providing a place where artists work, live and present their final pieces to the community. So that, it can encourage their creativities, networking and them to provide better quality of art and culture. My conceptual model indicates mostly interlocked or overlapped system that allows different levels of floors providing a sense of connectivity between artist to artist, and artist to community. Thus, it will allow artist can be more productive and collaborative.
