E N C A S T R A D A BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
Spring 2018 Integrated Design Development Studio Professor: Lonn Combs & Gabrielle Brainard Partner: Natalie Goklevent Located between two parks, we sought to integrate the exterior within the interior circulation of the building design. By designing and bridging three main buildings we allow for the place in between to allow for flow from exterior spaces. By designing a fabric facade that functions to encompass exterior and interior spaces we acknowledge the presence and importance of the waterfront and park.

Fall 2017: Academic project Vertical Studio Professor: Michael Oatman Partners: Class The Task was to design an exhibit through the eyes of Marcel Duchamp. We discovered ways to display artwork through various experiments fully inspired by Duchamp’s writings, ideas, and artwork. As a class we cooperatively made our ideas reality and designed an exhibit for The Tang Museum at Skidmore college. The show opened February 2018 and is open until May 2018. Through a semesters work of exploring exhibition and curating design the entire class were able to incorporate Duchampian inspired ideas.
