Step-By-Step Marketing Process To Make This Program a Success! You have committed to offering a Yoga Teacher Training Program but your concerns now are getting the students to come and sign up! Your program will be a success but people will not come unless the word gets out. How do you do that? It takes a plan and commitment to stick with the plan. One needs to create a road map a few months in advance of the event. Strategize the layers of promotion and timing of the promotion to be most effective. That is what this “Toolkit” will help you create - Your Marketing Strategy.

Call To Action

1. Create a Problem Statement What are you trying to solve for your customer? Focus their attention on the issue. There are no other programs in the area. Your Program schedule suits people’s needs differently or better for your customers. Your style of yoga is desirable. You have a customer base that wants this program.

2. Benefits This aspect creates hope and motivation to act on your Program. This is what entices them to commit to the Program. These are the results or “What’s in it for me”. You show how this will change their current feelings, behaviors or relationship to patterns in their lives. They believe that this program will make their dream of being a teacher come true. They find something for “themselves” in the midst’s of being a spouse, parent, child, employee, etc. This will be the jump start to “a new you!” This also can be where your program offers a better schedule; days offered, hours, timeframe, fitting into their life schedule better. Maybe it is the fact you include free classes while in the program. Or you can offer better price, flexibility on payments, scholarship, work-study. This will be a benefit to their expense of the program. Another approach to gaining insight on the benefits you offer, is frame it from what sets you apart from your competition. What will you do better than the competition and present that in a way that this will benefit them. One example may be, the competing studio is known not to have an apprentice/mentorship type program after the training is complete. “We support you as a new teacher by providing one-on-one mentorship relationships for the first year after your training. This is so you can have the confidence in your teaching and have support as a new teacher.” 10
