I aim to be an architect who creates buildings that perform far better in terms of fitting into and adding value to their context. The built environment has massive potential for improvement. In future, the best architectural solutions will ingrain themselves into the networks of their context in hitherto unseen ways. In most buildings of today, especially in India, this link is quite superficial. The pursuit of economies of scale and simple single use buildings have resulted in inefficient building usage patterns, construction methods and technologies.

This was designed as an effective way to achieve a balance between the economic gain of highways in forests and the safeguarding of natural animal habitats. Ascension Observation Tower at Zagreb Conceptual design of an observation tower in the city of Zagreb.

Aquatecture 2019 Designed a city on water focussing on a single replicable unit. The unit is powered by wind and OTEC (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion) technology plants that produce energy as well as desalinated water, coolants for AC and mineral rich water for hydroponic food production. This was a complete ecosystem on water.

RE- EMERGE PAVILLION The pavillion is built entirely out of upcycled abandoned wooden floor boards and pallets. The pavillion is a collaborative effort between the students and faculty of the EmTech M. Arch program, Buro Happold and Hassel Studio UK. PARTICIPATORY DESIGN

Coalesce is a 400 home residential development that grows and reconfigures over 50 years. Every home is uniquely designed by the resident and an AI assistant which adapts to the always unique building context. Done as part of a group of 3 Role: Overall ideation, algorthm development for floor plan generator, cellular automata and tower morphology, , structural analysis, visualisation renders of unit and cluster scale.

3D CELLULAR AUTOMATA FOR POROSITY Each of these positions recieve as weight from 0.5 to 1.5. Also a range of values for life, R (2 to 7), is specified. For each cell that is being analysed the surrounding neighbours are checked for life. If alive, they are multiplied by their weight.

3 towers outlines are populated with voxels representing buildable space. Cellular automata ensures porosity (helps airflow) as well as variety of spatial configurations at the massing level.

After adjusting the weights, there were very few cells that shared faces with adjacent cells, making it difficult to combine voxels into volumes that are large enough to contain an entire home

After adjusting the weights, it results in a higher probability of continuous cell groups that can be grouped into homes`


PARTICIPATORY + AI DRIVEN FLOOR LAYOUT GENERATION

Within the voxels selected by the user a home is generated by an evolutionary solver and shape grammar algorithm. The sizes and number of rooms is decided by the user. Fitness criteria that ensure home liveability are taken into consideration while runnning the GA. The algorithm explores 1000 iterations - learning and adapting and outputs the 3 best solutions.

The marching cubes algorithm creates a geometry whose edges become structural framing. Infill panels from the kit of parts and recommended by the floor layout generator are used to fill populate and reconfigure the tower.

The Hilton Huntington Hotel required a rennovation of the Porte Cochere (entry vestibule). This project highlights the technical details prepared for conceptual design stage, which combines products from several vendors such as lighting, flooring and cladding into one comprehensive proposal.
