Well here he is! The inaugural Associate sale is the perfect place to have the first Millington bull sell in a sale. Empire is everything you look for in a herdsire, long deep stout attractive and super athletic. He has had “the look” since day one and is one we are super excited to have raised! Out of the awesome Sprinkles donor at Rainbow River and with Sage 506C on the top side Empire is loaded with maternal greatness. He has 3 flush sisters looking amazing here and at Rainbow River. We will be Retaining 50 straws of semen for in herd use. We will take him home and develop him over the winter. 50% down sale day remaining 50% on delivery after passing breeding evaluation.
A new exciting event such as this calls for digging as deep as possible and offering up a truly untouchable female. KWA Ms Steel 99J is a unique female royally bred right from the heart of our operation. 99J is a direct daughter of the deceased KWA Ms Rock 138Z female the dam of the popular KWA Roosevelt 63F. 99J is elegant, setting up a gorgeous udder and balanced in her build. From front to back 99J is beautifully constructed from her ideal skull through her smooth shoulder and past her deep sweeping centre. Her sire LBR Steel E202 has exceeded our expectations siring sound, attractive and functional males and females including a bull we retained KWA Monarch 54H, who is now walking the pastures at Westway Farms. Adding to the intrigue of this female is her service to one of the most talked about bulls of the 2022 sale season. BEE Alpha 915J was the $120,000 high seller from Beechinors we purchased with our friends at Red Top Livestock. The resulting mating of these two high quality individuals should result in one that could be truly special. This will be the only service to Alpha selling this year. 99J was also exposed after her AI date but was ultra sounded safe to his service. Ashworth Farm & Ranch would like to offer to retain possession while selling 100% interest in 99J, with the option to retain 50%. We feel we can offer great options in terms of breeding management and marketing for future offspring.
AI serviced to BEE Alpha 915J on April 1 (safe). Exposed to Erixon Element 17J on April 27th - June 7th.
Another tough one here to let go of as this is the kind that makes being in the business of raising bulls easy. KWA Ms Future 160J is the type of performance female the Simmental breed has become known for. 160J is as dark red as you could make one, setting up a tremendous udder in a broody maternal package and possesses an exceptional EPD profile. We love retaining females of this build, they make up a large portion of our cow herd. The dam of 160J was purchased from Double Bar D as a heifer calf in 2019 and knocked it out of the park with her first calf. RLD 420G herself is a direct daughter of the Galaxy 101X female making her a maternal sibling to the well known Double Bar D Liberator bull. KWA Future 3G was a past high seller through our spring bull sale purchased by Kenners and Bouchard. We retained multiple Future females to breed this spring and we feel they will make great production females with their easy doing builds, correct udders and excellent foot and leg structure. Another exciting note for 160J is her service to our new calving ease sire Erixon Element 17J, an Epic son raised by an ideal Rambler female. 160J is sure to be a wise investment and the kind we see producing the type the commercial industry craves for years to come.
AI service to Erixon Element on April 11th (safe) Exposed to Erixon Element 17J on April 27th - June 7th
Confirmed bred to True North on Mar 31. Conditions: 1/2 interest, no possession. Insurance to be purchased after sale for full value of heifer, to be paid 1/2 by buyer and 1/2 by Ty-D Livestock. Ethel is another female we thought that there was no way in hell we could part with, but we firmly believe she’s too good to just keep to ourselves. We think she is going to have some fantastic calves with incredible maternal strength. Ethel’s great granddam KHG 86U played a major part in our program and aged out on us last fall. At 14 years old she still had an udder ready for the show ring. All of her daughters boast the very same udder quality and Ethel is setting up for success just the same. Not only does Ethel possess such strong maternal genetics from her dam’s side, she has pulled so many great qualities from Annuity and his sire Bankroll. She shows so many similarities in the type and kind of Bankroll. Plus add another wicked good female, Annuity’s dam, Double Bar D Payton. We have big expectations for Ethel’s future and are so excited to see what she does for us and our future partner. She really is a special individual to us!
Poll and Colour test results pending.
We are offering a Premonition daughter in this elite sale, something we have not let any go. The first daughters are milking this year and they are beyond our expectations, big, powerful, beautifully designed, and great uddered. 50 Shades checks so many box’s with power, quality, and look. It takes years to build a female like this. We like stacking highly productive cows families to increase quality and predictability. This female starts with Mader’s Opal cow family, we mated her to a bull out of our National champion female Radiance, and even the Angus injected goes back to Hamilton Farms Annie K cow family. We feel 50 Shades will be very competitive as a yearling next year and will just keep getting better with age.
In the spring of 2021 we partnered with our friends at X-T Simmentals to bring home a piece of Springcreek Estate 58H. We have been very happy with the results of that partnership and it is easy to see why. He left a pen full of top end bull calves and some spectacular females. We knew we wanted to include one of those females and here is KWA Ms Estate 23K a massive middled, easy fleshing, attractively built heifer that shows the prowess of this young herd sire. 23K is easily appreciated on her own for how well she is constructed from her near perfect feet to her ideal skull shape and overall eye appeal. Shes setting up to drop a gorgeous udder and will be an easy keeping female who will be one to watch in the future. On paper she has top end EPDs and is backed by a strong young Vegas female who goes back to a highly productive Sterling female. No guess work here this is the kind of female that is easy to mate and you can never have enough of.
There is so much to be said about the Rose cow family and the endless success she has brought us. Highlights being last falls choice of 2 full sisters bringing $42,000 at Agribition, and countless high selling direct sons and descendants in the bull pen including last years $51,000 high seller who was sired by a full sibling to 2022K. 2022K is about as complete and well rounded as a show heifer gets. She’s incredibly long spined, boasting an extra rib, extended through her front 1/3, tying into a smooth shoulder with a beautiful skull. In motion she is very fluid in her movement, smooth jointed and stands on a great foot. While still being very sound, refined and feminine she carries very adequate muscle expression and rib shape and dimension. 2022K reminds us a lot of the 2 sisters we brought out last fall, which really demonstrates the consistency of this tried and true mating. Both sisters were IVF flushed last January with great success and can be checked out in our CWA and Ag Ex string. Investing in 2022K is as close to a sure bet as you can get.

We couldn’t be more proud to offer another elite set of full sisters, the first daughters of our newest donor Double Bar D Bretta 461H. Upon touring the Dimler’s operation in the fall of 2020 we were really impressed with the quality of the turnpike cattle. Big and sound footed, extremely extended and round ribbed. We saw the mating potential in the Turnpike cattle and invested in a daughter out of the fantastic Brett donor, who was a past high seller herself and has produced many high selling progeny. Bretta herself is an awesome footed, big powerful and extended female, she carries her head high off her shoulder and has dropped a near perfect square udder. You’ll see a lot of these character istics in these daughters and will be hard pressed to find a more complete set of sisters. Their brothers in the bull pen again are extremely consistent in type and solidify our confidence in the production value of the Bretta cow. Consider this your opportunity to jump in on the ground level on a young cow family with an incredibly bright future. Red Blaze or Black Blaze, you just can’t go wrong.
We believe 2039K is constructed as well as you can make one, structurally she is flawless and combines a blend of power and elegance that is very rarely achieved. 2039K is sound from the ground up, smooth shouldered, big boned, great footed, explosive ribbed, full through her heart and bottom 1/3rd, long and level topped with a beautiful skull shape and blaze face to add to the jackpot. We believe she is truly a magnificent breeding piece and that the best is yet to come for this beautiful female. She’s already been slapped as an All Breeds Champion in her first outing, jump in on the excitement here. She is the kind of female that needs to join an ET program promptly. Horner Cattle Company will retain a personal flushing interest in 2039K.Horner Cattle Company would offer show management or donor management with details negotiable after the sale.
Here is a full sister to 2039K and she has been rivaling her sister since day one! Soft made, bold and dimensional, big ribbed and still incredibly attractive. Structurally she is hard to pick a hole in, and this rings true throughout this entire flush. She comes with the bonus money stripe in a red package! The breeding opportunities on this type of female are endless.

We haven’t had a lot of Heidi daughters yet, but the one we do have is front pasture material. She’s near perfect uddered an has raised a fantastic Honour heifer calf who is slotted to continue the Heidi cow family here. Heidi herself was the lead off and high selling female at WLB’s final bred heifer sale. She was the talk of the fall in the west and we were pleased to get her purchased that day. Structurally is she is incredibly complete and well constructed, perfect footed and is the kind of female that clicks with most any mating. She is explosive in her rib shape and is one of the soggiest made and most powerful cows in our herd. We see a lot of these qualities in 2026K, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her continue to develop. 2026K has been an early favourite here and while we hate to see her leave, we are excited for the impact she is bound to have in another program.
The Emma cow family is one we hold in high regard around Horner Cattle Company for their superior udder quality, foot structure, balanced epds, they are elegantly made with extra volume. 909G is no exception, after her show career was complete we ivf flushed her with good results. We’ve been very happy with the quality consistency of this Bentley flush as well as 909’s natural bull calf. Since 909’s show career she has developed into one of the most elegant and smooth made and beautiful skulled females we own. We are hugely impressed by her udder quality. A full brother to 2035K will sell in our bull sale next year and is slotted to be part of our Ag Ex and CWA show string. A maternal sister to 909 was a class winner at Agribition and was a high seller to our friends at Longview Cattle Co. where she has been flushed successfully. 2035K is one of the most explosive and round made females in our offering with extra volume, muscle dimension and rib shape. She possesses these characteristics while still maintaining an attractive look, ample neck extension and balance. Her cherry red colour is just another bonus that is going to make her popular come sale day.

When searching for cattle for our inaugural event we approached Ben and Kassandra about possibly consigning a female and they blew us away with what they had to offer. Keepsake carries some special breeding to our operation and was purchased by them as an embryo in our last female production sale. Backed by the female maker Red Western and Ms Rock 22Z this young female has all the potential in the world. A flushmate to the Millington Brisk bull as well as KWA Ms Western 24B there is plenty of past performance to show the potential this female possesses. Keepsake herself is ultra attractive, stout and hairy all while remaining sound and functional. She is dropping a square, proper udder and has massive feet. This heifer leads every heifer in terms of performance in a way we haven’t seen since her dam was the same age. A heifer here that has been a pleasure to be a small part of and one you won’t want to miss out on.
We are always on the look for a red bull with a fresh pedigree and that search led us to Hadway’s in the spring of 2021. Rob Voice reached out to us saying he thought they had a bull that would work well in our program and I think he hit the nail on the head. We have over 15 sons of Overload lined up for our annual bull sale and a pen full of high end females. We wanted to showcase those females and chose KWA Ms Overload 69K. Long spined, packed full of muscle with extension through her front third and a royally bred pedigree to boot. The dam of 69K is KWA Ms Authority 10F is a direct daughter of the great Ms Rock 14X. 10F is a powerhouse female with extra dimension throughout her build, a great udder, attractive makeup and great feet. The first calf of 10F, KWA Remark 105H, was sold to Westway Farms in 2020 as a sale highlight. The EPD profile for 69K is truly spectacular with nearly every trait in the top of breed averages. We expect big things from 69K with all the great females in her pedigree we feel she will achieve just that.

Consigned by Millington RanchWhat a privilege it is to be involved in the first Associate Invitational sale! We are truly honoured to sell our genetics with this great set of breeders. We were asked to bring our best and that’s exactly what we did. With that being said, we bring to you GFD Electra 17K! She’s a long spined, wide topped, beautiful fronted, explosive ribbed female that brings that wow factor with her! She’s backed by an elite dam, Crossroad Excel 113E. A female that represents the power side of our genetics. Her sire, WFL 6F, has been a game changer for our program. Adding the highly sought after baldy face, calving ease, and the versatility to use on any type. A paternal sibling GFD Fortune 12J sold last year to Ashworth Farm & Ranch LTD, one who has been highly noticed in their pasture this summer!
Be sure to come check out Electra on sale day!
Rosebud is a heifer we really like and has been a popular pick of many who visited this summer! She has a perfect blaze that enhances her overall style and presence, a maternal sister (CMS Le-A) sold at FNL in 2018 to Locust Hill Farms. Her Driver sired dam is one of the deepest ribbed cows on the farm with great length and a huge hip. She always brings in one of our top calves each year. 264K’s sire is one of the best bulls we have raised to date, sired by Bankroll and from our productive donor female Heirloom. Many of Protocols maternal brothers have gone onto purebred herds - CMS Mandate, Empire, Frontier, Keystone to name a few. Protocol is co-owned with the Sholgren’s from Edberg, AB. We are both very happy with the calves Protocol has sired this year - stylish, great hair and good performance! 264K weaned off at 804 lbs in early August (check out her EPD’s), they are very impressive, as is she. A beauty that we are proud to offer in the first Associate Invitational sale!
This heifer descends from a real powerhouse cow family that are known to establish both herdsires and foundation females. Red Opal’s EPD’s are in the top 10% in 6 categories! She is certainly a heifer we think could produce an elu sive red calving ease bull that many producers are looking for, being in the top 3% for calving ease and birth weight. Her dam 005H is an ideal female in our mind; beautiful udder, near perfect foot structure and large frame. We were certainly excited to add her to our program this past year and have since added her to our donor pen. We see Red Opal following in her mother’s footsteps with a nice udder developing and feet that will have zero maintenance. Don’t miss out on a female like this as they do not always come on the market with this type of breeding potential and ROI!
We feel this young female has all the makings of a true front pasture matron. KWA Ms Statement 8K is a tanky, soft sided, hairy and maternally bred female with exceptional feet. Her dam is an ET Authority daughter of the infamous KWA Ms Rock 22Z, the dam to Red Tops feature Western daughter and dam to many other notable females and sires. The dam of 8K is much like her donor mother with an exceptional udder attractive profile and is quickly developing an impressive production record. Last fall a Statement daughter lead off the CWA Simmental sale and this year we have one more to help headline this exciting sale. We calved the first set of Statement daughters last spring and we are loving what they have done so far.

Consigned by Harvie Crest Cattle Co.Kourtney 27K is an absolute sweetheart of a black heifer with a bit of a twist to her pedigree. Sired by a Combustible son we purchased as the high seller from Pheasantdale and out of a Crimson Tide daughter we acquired from Rainbow River. Kourtney is packed with legendary donors in her maternal pedigree with STF ZW87, Scream 215Z and the great female maker Liner 56U. With a moderate 78 pound birth weight she has done nothing but grow and get better from day 1. She is put together extremely well, long and smooth and good on the move, with extra hair and a sweetheart disposition. She is showing very high quality udder structure for a calf and with her qualities and pedigree expect her to be a long term highly productive female.
SYCSA had a great first show back this summer after Covid has held it back for a couple years. When they asked if they could put a donation lot in our sale it was an easy decision to say yes. Once that was decided right away we decided we should be the ones to give the donation lot and we aren’t holding anything back on this one.
