PRESIDENT John Gellel
General Manager, Kastle Systems
John has more than 20 years’ experience in the security industry. Prior to joining Kastle Systems as General Manager in 2016, John spent 15 years with Honeywell Security and ADI Global Distribution. John has an MBA and an Advanced Diploma of Management. He has served on the ASIAL Board as a Director from 2014-2016 and as Vice-President from 2017-2021.
VICE PRESIDENT Rachaell Saunders
Rachaell has more than 30 years of experience in the security industry. She founded National Protective Services in 1988 and was appointed to the ASIAL Board in 2015. Rachaell was appointed to the board of the Portable Long Service Leave Authority in 2019.
DIRECTOR Tamara Bayly
Tamara has over 18 years’ experience in the security industry, including protective services, aviation, electronics and monitoring. She is a member of the Senior Leadership team for Certis Security Australia. Prior to this, Tamara was a Police Officer in Queensland. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Security Management, Diploma of Management, and is a Certified Lead Auditor.

Brian’s career in the security industry spans over 50 years, working as a senior manager and director. He has been admitted as a Fellow of the AICD, IML and ASIAL, with over 20 years cumulative service as a Director of our Association.

Michael has 20-plus years of experience in the security industry. He has worked for both Australian and international, private and public companies in general management and MD roles. He has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a CPA and a member of the AICD.
