ASIFA HELLAS, the Greek National Animation Association, is proud to present its updated Hellenic Animation Brochure 2023, featuring extensive information about animation production in Greece. All the entries are active in the field of animation production, distribution, promotion and education.

The creative ecosystem presented in the Brochure aims to increase extroversion and leverage project investment in Greek animation through national and international institutions and investment schemes. Furthermore, we aim to introduce the opportunities for new directors and creators from all over the world to produce their work in Greece and distribute it globally.

ASIFA HELLAS annually promotes Greek animation festivals, businesses and educational activities, to international markets and the public. This goal is achieved annually, while our national brand "Greece Animated" becomes more prominent than ever. The evolution of the Greek animation market is steadily positive and promising, evident by the numerous projects produced annually and the increasing number of Greek animation productions in process.

Success is becoming a synonym to Greek animation and ASIFA HELLAS is a significant source of creativity, synergy and extroversion transforming Greece to a newpole of evolution for animation productions and co-productions worldwide. So, join us and enjoy the ride into the world of Greek Animation.

The National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (EKOME) unceasingly supports the Greek creative community of animation, recognizing that the sector can immerge as an important pillar of domestic audiovisual production.

Through the strategic support of ASIFA HELLAS, EKOME aspires to offer a boost to the international outreach of the domestic animation community and promotes the international synergies, showcasing Greek talent on the world stage.

Meanwhile, thanks to our attractive incentives of 40% cash rebate and 30% tax relief, a considerable increase has been recorded for the last 5 years concerning the audiovisual productions implemented in Greece. Τhis bloom creates further favorable conditions for investments in infrastructure and training professionals who are actively involved in the audiovisual industry.

The Greek Film Center (GFC) has been committed to supporting the film industry and art in Greece for more than 45 years. In recent years, with the advent of digital technology the motion picture has broken new grounds. Greek animation, in particular, has acquired a new dynamic.
