Aim of the Project: To uncover and establish correlations through analysis and interpretation of the architectural and design aspects with those of Sacred Geometry. Goals of the Project: To study and analyze the use of Sacred Geometry in architecture and art from ancient civilizations and various architectural styles of the world. To study the application of the principles of Sacred Geometry in religious architecture, design and art, with special reference to Islamic Architecture. To apply the principles of Sacred Geometry to the architecture and design of a contemporary mosque.
Research
Research Design and Method: This project discusses the formal and symbolical meaning of Sacred Geometry to architecture,
design and classical
art right from the Egyptian civilization to the present day religious structures, particularly those affiliated to the religion of Islam. The research presentation uses a mix of exploratory and descriptive research design mainly through the secondary r e s e a r c h m e t h o d o l o g y. Plan
The site is a private mosque, ‘Masjid-EEbrahim’ . It was originally built in , and renovated twice. It has two floors and covers an area of 460 sq. m. The ground floor is divided into men's and women's sections and the first floor is only women’s section. The following is an analysis and proposal for renovation based on the principles of Sacred Geometry.

The plan of the mosque as a whole and also its sub-divisions follow the laws of sacred geometry and phi. The elevations were asymmetric and were altered to fit into the golden proportions and √2 and √3 systems. Since

A vaulted ceiling called the Karbandi vaulting, a type of ribbed vaulting has been proposed. It is made of a skeleton of timber along with plaster cladding. The column capitals are made of Muqarnas (honey-comb structures)that are typical of the Islamic style and follow the basic star geometry.

Every pattern used in the interiors of the mosque has been evolved using the laws of 4-fold, 5-fold and 6-fold geometry. Different materials like wood, plaster and tile mosaics have been used to bring these patterns to life.
Elevations
The half dome of the Mihrab (niche) has been clad with muqarnas (honeycomb vaulting) using plaster. The main wall of the building is clad with wood, plaster and tiles creating geometric and floral patterns and arches. V I E W

The aim of the design is to create a luxurious living space which caters to the users aesthetic sense as well as comfort. The theme is ‘Classical Indian’, and elements, materials and finishes typical to the theme have been used in a beautiful yet practical blend according to the clients needs..

Bedroom
The room has a carved wooden bed and classical wallpaper. Teak wood furniture, carved wooden tables and chairs and wooden motifs have been used. The walk-in-wardrobe has adequate space according to the needs of the clients. The bathroom has a double washbasin with vanity drawers along with a tall storage unit. Dark marble has been used for the walls and the floor has been sandblasted to give anti-skid properties. W A S H R O O M

Library
The room doubles as a private TV room and a library. A neutral theme runs in this room. Custom furniture is used and a beige paint for the walls. Upholstery has been used to create a colour pop and the wood and marble create a contrast.

The family room is on the top floor, that leads into the home theatre. The staircase lobby is the focal point with larger-than-life size balusters acting as a partition. Wooden furniture with an ethnic rug give the room color and contrast.

SALON
The aim of the design is to create a space catering to every need of the user, from hair, body and skin treatments and bridal services to dermatology needs. The theme around which the design revolves is a blend of contemporary and Victorian styles. The space has two floors. The ground floor is a salon with a hair-treatment section, spa, massage and grooming rooms, and a bridal suite with a separate entrance. The top floor has a dermatology clinic and a body product store. The place offers a wholesome experience to the user.

The aim of the project was to design a two floor office. Importance was given to practicality and anthropometrics of the user as well as the aesthetics. The theme chosen was a contemporary blend of materials like wood, glass and metal with a hint of rustic effect.

The ground floor houses the workstations and the conference room. In the workstation area there is a cabin for the project head. The conference room had two large columns protruding out and an overhead beam which have been hidden in the design using wood and creating a storage space.
The first floor houses the managing director’s cabin and the reception area along with the waiting area. Behind the reception table is a wooden partition which acts as the focal point of the room. The walls are clad with veneer. The MD’s cabin is a 16 sq. m. room with a custom made desk and storage system. G R O U N D

HOSPITALITY DESIGN
Concept
The aim of the project was re-adaptive use of an auditorium into a recreational space. The space was remodeled to be a multi-cuisine Tea bar. The concept or idea was to create a space where the user can take a walking tour of the world and experience different cultures in one place.
The Tea Route is a Tea place that offers authentic teas and tea time experiences from all over the world. It has booths from six countries and one can experience the tea culture of the country in a true sense, with service methods, preparation methods, furniture, cutlery, wardrobe of service staff and aura.
Planning
The room is a rectangle of 162 sq. m area. To provide the user with a multi-cultural , multi-cuisine experience the room is divided into six parts for six countries. There are no partitions used, instead the divisions have been achieved by means of furniture, and flooring and ceiling patterns.
Views
The furniture, i.e. the tables have been placed in between two areas and have been designed such that half the furniture is from one furniture style and half from another. A karaoke stage has been provided for entertainment and to create a wholesome experience . C H I N E S E
