Welcome Reflecting on the past year, change and innovation are two themes that come to mind. We have welcomed some really exciting artists to our roster, hired fifteen members of staff, launched a new website and relocated to lovely new offices in central London. We have managed inaugural international tours for the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal and the National Youth Orchestra of China, as well as touring the first international orchestra to Kuwait, where the London Symphony Orchestra performed at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. Many of the artists we represent have enjoyed successful debuts at concert halls and opera houses around the world. Whatever change we face, we remain true to our heritage, nurturing talent and building our reputation on the commitment and passion that we have for our work. This feels a particularly apt statement as we begin 2018, which marks twenty years since Harold Holt and Lies Askonas came together under one roof to form Askonas Holt. In this uncertain and ever-changing world, we cannot stand still, and below are just two of many new initiatives we look forward to in 2018.
On page 10 of this brochure, you will find some information about our new Askonas Holt Rising Stars. We are passionate about the next generation of great musicians, and this new venture – along with our continuing commitment to youth-focused touring projects (see page 11) – is very close to our hearts. This year also marks the launch of our partnership with the Leeds International Piano Competition. Sharing the competition’s commitment to nurturing new talent and forging exceptional international careers, we are delighted to be offering management to one of the three prize-winners, as part of the competition’s new package that includes performances with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and in recital at the Wigmore Hall, alongside recording opportunities with BBC Radio 3. We very much look forward to working with you in the months and years to come.
Donagh Collins CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Askonas Holt Rising Stars We are pleased to introduce a major new initiative: Rising Stars. Created to support young singers, we are very excited to welcome these talented artists to Askonas Holt.
“I am thrilled to be working with these exceptional young singers at such an exciting point in their careers, and am thankful to Askonas Holt for offering a spotlight for young artists.
We have always believed in the importance of nurturing the next generation: indeed we represent many singers who joined us early in their professional development and are now internationally recognised. In addition to the bespoke management we provide to all artists on our roster, Rising Stars offers an additional, carefully tailored platform for emerging talent plus advice on how to deal with the challenges of a modern career.
Ann Murray DBE, Artistic Advisor
We are especially delighted that our Rising Stars will benefit from the personal guidance of Ann Murray DBE, as Artistic Advisor.
