Within the scope of my master's thesis, an idle area in the university campus was noticed. It was desired to re-plan and design the existing area with the understanding of participatory planning and to make it active. As a result of the studies, the process was started and seminars were organized to inform the users. A survey was conducted to determine the demands of the users. A workshop was organized with the participants on user needs and demands, and it was tried to design a community garden where maximum efficiency could be achieved with a low budget.

Community gardens; The necessity of ecological responsibility in sustainable society development are spaces that bring new approaches to the production-consumption process and contain functions that will affect the attitude, behavior models and living spaces of individuals in this process. Based on this approach, it was aimed to design a space that would support the step taken by universities towards becoming a green campus. It is aimed to increase the sense of belonging by creating the potential for campus users to contact nature and to spend more time on campus and socialize with different users.
It was intended to create a kermes area that could be used for crops grown in the planting-planting area or for different activities.
A place where students can share their belongings among themselves, reduce consumption, and support sharing and productivity is proposed.
The designed awning was intended to have a flexible design and instead of a specific function, it wanted to be a defined area that could respond to the different demands of the users.
Revised the chess floor a number of use cases have been generated. In cooperation with the music club, this venue can be used as a concert venue.
It is thought that the open-air cinema activity, which is one of the most requested functions of the students, can be realized in this area.
The space has not been given a single function and suggestions for use that can be made outdoors based on the principle of multifunctionality have been presented.

‘The familiar is not necessarily the known’ - Lefebvre
Kadıköy is an important settlement region that has been in memory with its place and importance in history for thousands of years.Would those who call Kadıköy, whose first known name is the land of the blind, the land of the blind, have known? In order to observe a place, it is important to be able to see it rather than being there. Looking there is not seeing it, Kadıköy is the place where we feel the unique magic of the historical peninsula and the intense blue of the sea.
Haydarpaşa is the first gate of Europe to Anatolia. We see the situation that Kadıköy, which is home to this precious port, is exposed to besides what it can have and what it can sustain. The big problem at Kadıköy dock, which is a transportation point, is that people pass by without seeing its surroundings and potential beauties. Well said Lefebvre. The familiar is not necessarily the known. The aim of the project is to change the familiar by strikingly revealing unknown historical traces and lost identity elements with references from the past, and to provide move ment, energy and synergy in Kadıköy Pier, not only with the focus of transpor tation, but also by opening the existing values in the area to public uses.

Urbanites who use Kadıköy square as a transition area and do not touch its historical texture, unaware of its advantages. When going from Focus 1 to Focus 4; The user, who wants to reach from one point to another, can access urban wagons with many different functions such as water touch pier, viewing terraces on the route. Urban wagons offer a chance to touch many textures, as well as being cultural access points. It is aimed to reveal the cultural and artistic values with this design, taking into account the history of the existing area and its characteristic features. Focals encourage the recreational use of the area by allowing the user to pause at many historical and cultural points.

Urban landscape creation strategy aims to reveal a set of principles and principles. At the forefront of these principles is the idea of allowing coastal areas to renew themselves ecologically and to consider the entire coastline as a habitat. In the whole city, fragmentation problems are encountered in the urban landscape. In order to create and maintain ecological corridors in Kadıköy, it is necessary to approach the urban landscape elements, which are fragmented today, in a holistic manner. With the loop system created from linear roads planned in the region, it is aimed to regain the ecological values and create qualified landscape areas, not only to be mentioned with the transportation factor, but also to highlight its cultural and historical identity. It has been seen that the proposed green space system will contribute significantly to creating opportunities for recreational activities in urban life without going out of the city, and providing active and passive recreation opportunities. It has been revealed that the linear corridors created will offer opportunities to users with their more qualified features, since they offer multiple uses together. With the green area system, the existing recreation potential of Kadıköy is increased and the urban landsca pe provides more qualified areas by providing wide recreational activities (walking, cycling, awareness areas, fishing, resting, outdoor activities, etc.) and offering scenic routes to the users in the metropolitan city. intended. BÜYÜKADA I 'A Living City Museum' 'The city without identity presents the death of urban planning and design.' Rem Koolhaas
As a result of the researches carried out throughout the process, many memo ries, places and people on the 'Island Memory' were identified, and it was seen that the Island took its place as a 'home' in many memories, contrary to the concept of 'placelessness', which has become the biggest problem of cities today. Considering the natural and cultural heritage of Büyükada, it is inevitable that an important pillar of the concept of 'city museum' needed by Is tanbul should be located in Büyükada.
However, the aforementioned 'city museum' form should not be limited to a single structure in a unique texture such as Büyükada, it should overflow to the streets and breathe with the user. The concept of 'Buyukada: A Living City Museum' was evaluated simultaneously with the user movement at all scales and the 'spaces' needed by the local were restored, and places where the visitor could disperse without being stuck at a single point in the area and contribute in the direction of producti on-sharing were proposed.
The steps placed in order for the user to grasp the natural structure and movement in the area have been created in a form that will allow for different uses.
In order to use the square advantageously in different periods and to create defined sub-spaces, a sheltered awning was proposed.
Proposal Phaeton Statue - The relative itemization of the statue; ability to move the body and place
Suggestion carriage monument; It is based on an axis that rises to the sky, consisting of horseshoes, which will symbolize the horses and will be the reflections of their steps in daily life, in order to remind the route that the horses took during the tour.
Intersection of axles and energy distribution
In the motion where 'energy distribution' was determined as the main target, It is to transform it into a system consisting entirely of fluid forms, which gathers and sometimes distributes both the user and the local people coming from the piers.
Powered and served by axles
By clarifying the traces taken from the streets that provide energy and human flow to the Phaeton Square, the intensive circulation routes of the Phaeton Square were determined and a design approach was adopted to feed these routes.
It also continues the positions of the proposed 'urban agriculture' pots and green spaces in the streets. The green areas placed by making the user directs towards the designated areas. At the same time, the proposed green areas in the streets are recommended for the user directs towards the designated areas.
Lecture theatre and historical overview
The amphitheater and seating areas proposed in the area opposite the Greek Panayia Church; The proposal, which has the nature of a courtyard, was created in the square for users to come together for various activities and relax.
Flexible semi-enclosed volumes - changing awnings
Balance of open-closed space in the square ensuring the air of life in the square necessary to comply with the conditions to update itself according to the needs and to controllable semi-open spaces in the square. Retractable awning systems have been designed and solved for purposes such as eliminating the need.
The clock tower is part of the body
The Clock Tower, which currently stands alone with its surrounding landscape; especially at the welcome point where the user coming from the pier gets stuck. takes. With the common connection established on the ground, it is aimed to be compatible with the main square and to distribute the users inside.
Intersection of invitation and angles
The square has a form that welcomes the user from many different points. Different floor coverings and fluid forms suggested on the streets direct the user to the square from many points.
Starting point representation of the past invitation to the future ( to the square)
Breathing and production as a whole with its surroundings, at the same time a transformative and flexible space
Distribution of energy - avoiding congestion by distribution and collection movements
The church and the amphitheater steps, the arrangement that twists the apse, and the axis connecting the church and the coast
Supporting economic development and arts, culture, production, cooperative and commercial use
Allowing night use, supporting churches and monuments as focal points and an axis flowing inward from the beach
Supporting the island's horticultural culture, increasing ecological cycle, agriculture and collective production areas
Designing the monument that relates to the past of the phaeton square.
Selection of materials suitable for the history of the island; limestone, wood. Natural and ecological balance is important
It was desired to design a breathing public space. A living courtyard space has been created with the ecological cycle and landscape.

The criteria taken into consideration in the design of urban furniture were that the area to be placed should be compatible with the history and purpose of use, and that it should be used for disabled people and stray animals. Care has been taken to ensure that the selected materials are compatible with the materials in the place where they will be placed, and that natural and environmentally friendly materials are used. It has been tried to produce furniture with a more flexible design approach, suitable for single and multiple use.
