BUYER’S PRIMARY USE We ask our brokers what the buyer’s primary use of their newly purchased property will be. These demographics indicate that the Aspen and Snowmass Village area is a vacation/second home destination, more than it is home to locals. By contrast, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and beyond have become home to locals. We can also see here that there are currently a few more real estate investors buying upvalley than downvalley.
