Warm Winter Tour entertains residents at Shurniak Art Gallery
The winter blues had no room at the Shurniak Art Gallery as Justin LaBrash and True North filled the building with their “Warm Winter Tour” on Jan. 19.
Each attendee played a hand of cribbage and the winner of the best cribbage hand was Garnet Fletcher. He won a prize donated Young’s Equipment, presented Jared Williams (photo at far right). Refreshments were provided by Fresh Start.
The evening was sponsored by Cat Country 98.1 and McDougall Auctioneeds Ltd.

Students from Grades 7, 8 and 9 took on members of the Assiniboia EMS, fireman, RCMP and Ambulance during a game held at the Assiniboia Composite High School Gym on January 17. The EMS group won 54 - 37, showing the younger players you are never too old to have fun.
