GIVING TUESDAY REPORT 2020 DECEMBER 1th 2020

GIVINGTUESDAY IS THE LARGEST WORLD EVENT DEDICATED TO SOLIDARITY AND GENEROSITY

GIVINGTUESDAY MOVEMENT On Tuesday 1 December 2020, took place in more than 70 countries around the world GivingTuesday, the largest international event dedicated to solidarity. A day that invited everyone to donate and spread generosity.

The idea In 2012, when GivingTuesday was launched in the 92nd Street Y Belfer Center for Innovation and Social Impact, the team had a big goal: to make giving more central to daily life. The commitment to a core set of values, an open, distributed leadership model, and a belief in transformational partnerships set the team on a course to build the first global generosity movement, and the first global day of celebration open to anyone and everyone. In just a few years, GivingTuesday has become a global movement that inspires millions of people to donate, collaborate and do good.
