CENTRAL BIKE HUB

This modern structure was designed to facilitate the need for environmentally friendly transportation within the city of Lubbock. The central bike hub is located near the university as well as popular local businesses. This bicycle interchange system is a convenient maintenance shop, retail store, and secure bike racks. The building also provides fully equipped locker rooms for network users.

Site exploration began with circulation diagrams of pedestrian and vehicle activity in the area. Diagram influenced physical study models, of surface and building placement, were created.
