ECO-CONSCIOUS BEAUTY WORKSHOP by Amanda Smith and Mai Nguyen illustrated by: michelle montes
welcome You deserve a congratulations because this is HUGE. The fact that you even have this booklet means you are consciously making the effort in contributing to the larger movement of environmental change. We know, this may seem minuscule in the grand scheme of things but all it takes is just one more person to show that they care about this world, and the more we can come together in this sustainable effort, the greater the impact on the global environment. This little booklet is meant to be a guide and by no means is a strict how-to. We’re all learning our own ways in being more sustainable and environmentally-conscious, and there is no “wrong” way in showing you care for the world. This is a book to help you get started, try something new, or refer to when you just need simple home recipes or reliable resources. We are here to be that helping hand in incorporating sustainable habits into your lives and we hope this will motivate you to do so!
So let’s begin your #LowWasteLiving!

from us to you: First off, we just want to personally thank you for being a part of our DIY low-waste beauty workshop! We may not be experts in zero-waste living but we hope you learned something new and useful to help your own sustainable living at home and to share with friends and family. All it takes is one small step forward and one more person to make the effort so thank YOU for taking the time to learn with us. Of course, we can’t forget a special thanks to The Series NY and Sense of Shelf for organizing this event and coming to us with this amazing opportunity to share our sustainable journeys!  Thank you to Michelle Montes for the super adorable illustrations in this little booklet.
