Established in 1979 and operating from three manufacturing sites, totalling 110,000 square feet, Astraseal is one of the UK’s largest and most successful fabricators.
Aluminium is hugely popular, with more and more users beginning to recognise the benefits and our wide range of aluminium products including windows, entrance doors, bi-folds, curtain walling and shop fronts and more provides a solution for any project.
Unlike many fabricators, we manufacture all our glass units in-house, meaning you can access the complete fully glazed product direct from Astraseal, and we have an in-house spray booth so can offer frames in any RAL colour.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities allows us to have total control of our supply chain and can offer a fast turnaround and competitive prices as well as offering a nationwide delivery service all over the UK.

The first system in the UK to feature Smart’s innovative QuickGlaze Beads, the system has been developed with ease of fabrication and installation in mind. With the profiles and beads being supplied with the glazing gasket pre-extruded into the profile, the Quick-Glaze Bead significantly reduces fabrication and installation time. The high quality system requires little maintenance, ensuring that once installed it will deliver many decades of trouble free, reliable operation.

Alitherm 600 Windows
The Alitherm 600 series includes a range of highquality glazing solutions for side and top hung open out windows, making them an ideal fit for refurbishment and new-build projects.
Customers can customise their profile to suit their property by choosing from chamfered, ovolo or squared edges.

FULLY REVERSIBLE
The Alitherm 700 is an innovative fully reversible window solution ideal for insertion into curtain wall facades in both low and high-rise commercial buildings.
This unique system allows installers to offer 180° of reversible window action within an aluminium system which provides enhanced natural ventilation.
Alitherm 700 profile utilises Smart’s innovative polyamide thermal break technology which creates a barrier between the cold air outside and warm air inside. This technology significantly reduces thermal transmittance and enhances the overall U Value of the product.

Alitherm Heritage Windows
Alitherm Heritage provides the ideal solution for heritage applications, such as listed building renovations and large scale replicarefurbishment projects where planning constraints are to be considered.
Choosing the Alitherm Heritage range will provide you with a modern light-weight, high-strength and cost effective alternative to traditional steel window systems, offering a wide range of benefits. Modern aluminium windows are thermallybroken using polyamide, an excellent insulator which helps to insulate windows against heat loss.
Alitherm Heritage windows are available in a number of formats, including fixed-pane, sash, top-hung and side-hung casement, pivot and tilt and turn. These different options may be installed in a combination of horizontal modules, which are stacked using our coupling options to form a multi-part window.

Suitable for both single and double door application, Alitherm Heritage doors are available in a wide range of sizes. The profiles feature the system’s signature slim sightlines and elegant lines that complement the existing Alitherm Heritage window and mimic those of steel doors.

VS 600 Vertical Sash Windows
The VS600 incorporates the traditional styling of sash windows with the advantage of a modern thermal aluminium profile.
This traditional sash window offers a flush opening and is easy to operate. Perfect for both new builds and for use in heritage and conservation areas.
As well as the vertical sliding sash the VS600 features a ‘tilt in’ operation that facilitates easy cleaning.

EcoFutural is a high-performance, high quality range of aluminium casement windows designed for commercial, retail, residential, health care and educational applications.

VISOFOLD 1000 SLIM
The Visofold system is the UK’s most popular aluminium bi-fold door range, with the latest addition, the new Visofold 1000 Slim, delivering a range of benefits for the installer and end user. Featuring new slimmer profiles, the sightlines of Visofold 1000 have been reduced making the glazed area even larger, an important consideration for projects both large and small.
For installers, the Visofold 1000 Slim’s new, Quick-Glaze Bead featuring integrated gasket are simply tapped-in on site, without the need to use a wedge gasket, making the installation and glazing process faster, more straightforward and more cost effective.

VISOGLIDE PLUS
Visoglide Plus is an adaptable sliding door system suitable for use as either sliding commercial entrances where large opening apertures are required, or as a dynamic residential sliding door that maximises light and gives stunning unimpeded views.

For installers, the Visoglide Plus doors feature Smarts Quick-Glaze Bead technology. The integrated gaskets are simply tapped-in on site, without the need to use a wedge gasket, making the installation and glazing process faster, more straightforward and more cost effective.
Lift & Slide Option
The Visoglide Plus is available as a lift and slide door which is opened by turning the handle to lift the door on its track, then sliding it to the side. Individual door sashes can be locked in place at any point within the opening.

Building on the proven success of the established Visoglide system, we are now introducing the new INVISOGLIDE DOOR, bringing even slimmer sight lines and elegant aesthetics to the range.
Featuring a new bonded glazing system, INVISOGLIDE provides enhanced security and extremely slim profiles. The sliding sashes are bonded using a high-quality singlecomponent adhesive.
Outer frame profiles can be concealed in walls, floor and ceilings to maximise sight lines and provide a smooth transition from inside to outdoors. With its innovative bonded glazing system, slim sash profiles and choice of 20mm or 26mm interlock options the new INVISOGLIDE door delivers extremely slim sight lines that offer unrivalled, uninterrupted views.

SLIDE 2000
Slide 2000 is the latest innovation in Smart’s popular series of elegant sliding doors. An evolution of the original Slide system using continental style construction, Slide 2000 features the signature slim line profiles and minimal sightlines associated with the range, coupled with modern thermal break technology that provides consumers with both enhanced thermal performance and the option of dual colour profiles in a wide choice of colour finishes.
The system is designed for use as sliding patio doors in residential applications for both new build homes and refurbishment projects. Slide 2000 is also suitable for use as horizontal sliding windows for light commercial use such as external serving hatches in restaurants. The window offers a solution where applications, such as schools and hospitals, require an open sash that does not project creating an obstruction.
Slide 2000 uses a selection of mitred outer frames featuring a dual or triple track option allowing the choice of 2, 3 or 4 pane doors. Two pane doors can have either dual sliding sashes or a fixed pane & one sliding opening sash configuration. If fitted with a triple track threshold all three sliding sashes can be configured to slide to one side which gives a 2⁄3 opening aperture.

Shopline
Shopline is a non-thermally modular entrance screening door system. With slim sightlines of just 50mm, this profile is suitable for a range of applications, including commercial swing doors, rebated doors, automatic swing doors and automatic sliding doors.
Shopline is a modular screening solution, combining the benefits of off-site manufacture with on-site assembly. Screen modules are constructed off-site from square cut profiles joined using self tapping screws. These modules can then be rapidly assembled on-site, intuitively clipping together the mullions to form one continuous screen.
With one of the most comprehensive range of profiles available, Smart’s Shopline is an established and proven screening system, designed to comply with the demands of architects, local authorities and property managers for commercial projects.

MC Wall

MC600
Curtain Wall
MC 600 is a relatively new curtain wall system capable of providing impressive, practical & economic glazed façades as a solution for both small and large scale multi-storey commercial buildings and ground floor treatment. The system has been designed with efficient fabrication in mind.
MC 600 benefits from an inter-changeable transom/mullion profile that allows fabricators to utilise the same section for both purposes, whilst achieving consistent sight lines. Depending on requirements MC600 can either be assembled on-site as a stick built system, or alternatively part assembled in the factory. MC600 can incorporate Smart window and door inserts.
