The Eternal Home and the Great Salvation Sura 5:119 Al-Maeda
Greetings dear friend of Allah! What prospect stands before us! Imagine that our future lives can link with the life of the Infinite One! This subject is so grand and incomprehensible that our minds fail to take it in. That mortal beings can one day live in the sight of Allah with “companions pure and holy”, (Sura 3:45 Aal-E-Imran) in His Eternal Home, is a most precious thought. There the “doors will ever be open” Sura 38:50 Sad What great salvation it is for Allah to save us from this fallen world of sin, suffering, and sorrow, and grant us an eternal home with “gardens of bliss”, Sura 5:65 Al-Maeda. It is almost too much to consider! And why should He offer this to us? It is only His Infinite Love for the fallen sons and daughters of Adam. And to think it was all done through the One sent down for us! Isa al-Masih the Great Ransom for man! Is it any wonder that Eid al-Adha is the greatest celebration ever made? The “momentous sacrifice” Sura 37:107 As-Saaffat, was made for not only Ibrahim’s beloved son, but for every son and daughter of Adam which was born on this world. Truly Allah has made this immense sacrifice on behalf of all humanity! Dear friend of Allah, never allow anyone or anything to get you to set aside these thoughts. The Garden forfeited is restored The Honored Qur’an speaks of the “Gardens of Eternity” Sura 16:31 An-Nahl which is the home of ransomed souls from this earth! The Taurat tells of how man was driven from the Garden of Eden when he disobeyed Allah. “And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.” Genesis 2:8 As a simple test, Adam was told: “approach not the tree, or ye run into harm and transgression [sin]. Sura 2:35 Al-Baqara. However Adam listened as “Satan whispered evil to him” Sura 20:120 Ta-Ha, and they both fell from their lofty position. Adam “allowed himself to be seduced” Sura 20:121Ta-Ha. After man sinned the… “LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove them out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim [holy angels] and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis 3:23-24 What a sad and terrible day when man was driven out of his Eden home! These ‘glad tidings’ are that man who is ransomed and who asks for repentance and forgiveness can be made righteous, and will again be restored to the Gardens. Sura 3:15 Aal-E-Imran In the Revelation of Isa al-Masih the ransomed will be returned to the very Garden lost in the beginning. The Garden Eden with the beautiful fruit lost in the book of Genesis is restored to man in the book of Revelation. “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.” Injeel Revelation 22:1-3 Descriptions of the Garden The Honored Qur’an speaks of “Saints to be on raised thrones”… Sura 18:31 Al-Kahf The Injeel promises that those who are overcomers in the battle against self, sin, and Satan will rule upon thrones. “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I [Isa al-Masih] also overcame and have sat down with My Father in His throne.” Revelation 3:21 Thrones are promised to those who overcome the devil and his deceptions, and refuse to receive the mark of the beast. Here upon earth, our homes are often taken from us, by wars, by violent, covetous hands, or by the elements of nature, but our homes in paradise will be sure. We are promised: “They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat…” Isaiah 65:21-22 “Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations-- their kings led in triumphal procession.” Taurat Isaiah 60:11 In that place: “On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.” Revelation 21:25 Who may enter there? The Honored Qur’an says the “Eternal Home” is for the “Righteous” Sura 3:15 Aal-E-Imran In clear words spoken from the ancient prophet Daud is laid out in detail who may once again dwell in the Holy Sanctuary or the ‘Eternal Home” of Allah? “LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, who lends his money without usury [interest] and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.” Zabur Psalms 15:1-5 In Sura 3:15 the “righteous” will live in that Eternal Home. Who are the Righteous? The Righteous are those who honor and keep the Eternal Law of Allah the Ten Commandments. They have given Allah complete permission to write His Holy and Sacred Laws into their very hearts and minds. “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” Injeel Hebrews 10:16 “And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant--these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:6-7 Yahya saw the Eternal Home Almost 2000 years ago the Prophet Yahya (John) was given a view of the Eternal Home. Here in the Revelation of Isa al-Masih he gives us a description of what he saw. This gives us hope in this fallen world of suffering, sin, and sorrow. “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;” Revelation 7:9 They regain their lost raiment (covering) which was ‘stripped [off] them’ in the Garden of Eden’. Sura 7:27 Al-Araf, for it says they were again ‘clothed with white robes’. These are the Robes of Righteousness which they had lost due to sin. “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes?... And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” Revelation 7:13-17 Oh precious peace, oh blessed hope, warmest of all thoughts, the blessings which Allah holds out to each soul who in humbleness submits his entire life into the hands of the living God and accepts by faith the One whom was sent down to save our souls from eternal ruin! Dear friend of Allah, His desire is that you be among that throng! It is a vast company which no man could number. “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands…” Revelation 7:9 Will you dear friend be among them? There it says: “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4 “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.” Revelation 21:24-25 “The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 65:25 Allah has prepared all this from His kindness, compassion, love, and mercy. May you be blessed to be among those who will be present. I wish you His Eternal Peace.
