Most have heard and know of the great day of Judgment. How often have Imams discussed this topic and have recited it from the Honored Qur’an! When is that day near, can we know? How do we prepare for the day of Judgment? Can we in any way escape the final verdicts from that court? Dear friends of Allah, these are just a few of the questions which we hope to discuss in this tract. May Allah give us grace, wisdom, and peace to know this topic. The Honored Qur’an clearly speaks of an Hour of Judgment. “And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way.” Sura 43:61 Az-Zukhruf The Investigative Phase of the Judgment What few people realize is that there is an investigative phase of that Great Judgment. What most will find shocking is that this investigative phase has already begun for people of earth. An ancient long forgotten prophecy in the Bible forewarns us that this day has already come. It is later than we think for planet earth! What is the investigative phase of the Great Judgment? In any earthly court, when someone is accused of a crime, you have a time when the court sits, and evidence is scrutinized and looked over by the court. In any fair trial there is this time of investigation into the crime, witnesses are called and questioned, and everything is carefully looked into before the final verdict is read by the judge. During this time, the court reviews the actions of the accused. Efforts are made that all is closely inspected and searched into, to try to find out what were the motives which prompted the individual to do what he did. At this precise hour upon earth we are in the middle of a massive investigative judgment going on. This is on a scale which nothing upon earth compares to. One of the Bibles’ longest time prophecies in Daniel 8:14 speaks to us of this event. The prophecy ended in the year 1844, in which it speaks of a time when the “sanctuary would be cleansed”. This prophecy is called the “2300 year/day prophecy”. “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Daniel 8:14 What is this sanctuary of which the Prophet Daniel speaks? This sanctuary or tabernacle has to be in heaven. The Bible speaks of three physical sanctuaries or tabernacles, the first mentioned was at the time of Moses. The prophet Moses had built a replica of this same sanctuary he had seen while up in the Mount with God. This replica of the real was built out in the desert after God’s children left Egypt. This desert sanctuary was to be a mini-model of the one in Heaven. Something like we would do for our children, give them a model airplane which would be similar to a full size airplane. To Moses upon the towering heights of Mount Sinai, was given a view of the heavenly Sanctuary or Tabernacle. He then was instructed by God, to build a small replica of what he had seen He was admonished by God…”Be sure to make everything just like the pattern I showed you on the mountain.” Taurat Exodus 25:40 This ‘everything’ was to include the Sanctuary with all the details as to the furniture inside. This was entirely revealed to Moses while upon Mount Sinai. The honored Qur’an mentions this event in the following ayat. “And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai): (Saying): “Hold firmly to what We have given you, and hearken (to the Law)” Sura 2:93 Al-Baqara It is vital that we study into this subject as it reveals how the process of salvation is carried out in Heaven. It gives us in micro fashion a view of what is taking place in Heaven. We can therefore know at which time this investigative phase of the judgment begins. When the 2300 day/year prophecy ended in 1844, the great investigative Judgment in Heaven began. This is what it means that the time has arrived for the Sanctuary cleansing. The Sanctuary mentioned here in Daniel must be the Sanctuary in heaven, for the desert sanctuary built by Moses is no longer with us and was later exchanged for a much larger version built by Solomon, David’s son. But this sanctuary as well is no longer with us and was destroyed twice. The Sanctuary and its’ cleansing spoken of in Daniel has to be the one in Heaven where God’s throne is and where the court sits. “A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.” Jeremiah 17:12 It is to this Sanctuary to which we must look for the fulfillment of Daniel 8:14 It also mentions that this sanctuary or tabernacle was not built by man’s hand…Injeel Hebrews 8:2 “There He [Isa] ministers in the heavenly Tabernacle, the true place of worship that was built by the Lord and not by human hands.” Our Intercessor The records of all people of earth and of all their deeds both good and evil, have been collected in that Sanctuary above. The court sits and reviews our lives and decisions are made. In this heavenly court setting, Isa al-Masih is the intercessor or only mediator on our behalf. “For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity--the man Christ Jesus.” Injeel 1 Timothy 2:5 He is the only one worthy to be our intercessor, as He alone earned the right to do this by taking upon Himself our humanity when He came to this earth. He so unselfishly gave up His life when on Mount Moriah where today the sacred “dome of the rock” or “Noble Sanctuary” stands as a constant reminder of that long ago event. Here too tradition tells us is the very site where Ibrahim was called by Allah, to sacrifice his son. Now in the Heavenly Sanctuary Isa al-Masih, pleads His own blood in our defense. It is now that we must pay particular attention to what is going on. It is now while this investigation is going on that we need to seriously consider all that God in mercy has revealed to us. The time has arrived in which God is making known these things all around the world. You dear reader is greatly loved by Allah, His love for you is far greater than any human love. He loves you with an infinite love and earnestly is longing to save your soul from eternal ruin. This is the primary reason for this tract. There is more light to be revealed to the people of Allah. We must plead for a revelation of truths which have long been hidden from many minds. Today while you hear His voice speaking to you, respond to Him with a positive yes! Earnestly ask Allah in private prayer (du’a) to reveal truths to you which are essential for you to know at this time of the investigative Judgment. All Judgment entrusted to the Son Not only is Isa the intercessor, but we need to understand that Isa al-Masih is the One whom was sent down from Heaven to ransom all from this earth. “[Isa] Who gave himself a ransom for all…” 1 Timothy 2:6 It is this same Isa al-Masih to whom the final judgment of all persons is entrusted to. “For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son, so that all should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.” Injeel John 5:22-23 It is His final decision, and based upon the records in heaven as to our choices made either for or against God and the One whom was sent down for us, which will determine the outcome of the verdict. We will either be granted Eternal Life or Eternal Death. These are the rewards which are issued from this Judgment. Solemn indeed is this time in which we are living. It ought to make us appeal with earnest du’a prayers to be found without fault in that day when our names appear for consideration. The cases of all upon earth come up before the court in Heaven and all are closely investigated as if there were no other person on earth except you. That is how close each case is decided. When Isa al-Masih and the court finish, then He returns to this earth with His rewards for the Righteous. Ancient writers of the Taurat foretold the event, when rewards would accompany His return. “Behold, the Lord GOD will come…[and] behold, his reward is with him…” Taurat Isaiah 40:10 The same thought is revealed, in the Revelation of Isa al-Masih. It clearly foretells of the time when Isa returns for the faithful people of earth and He brings His reward for each faithful soul. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Injeel Revelation 22:12 When He returns, the cases of all have been decided. For how could He come with rewards if the Judgment is still future? Friends we are living in the great Hour of Judgment. When Isa returns in the clouds of Heaven, He comes with the final rewards. Eternal Life for the faithful and others are destroyed by the brightness of His coming. The announcement of the “Hour of God’s Judgment” was clearly given in the years of 1843-44, when the special message of Revelation 14:6 clearly sounded. Today you can be ready for that event. We have a Heavenly Helper in this Judgment, Isa al-Masih, is your Intercessor, appeal to Him.
