Polytechnic Museum ‘Lyre’ Novosibirsk, 2015
[ Group project. Competition ] A concept project of territory development of Novosibirsk Planetarium includes a project of Polytechnic museum and surrounding landscape park. Constellation Lyre was taken for the basic idea, which supports the main cosmic theme of existing planetarium. Several blocks of the polytechnic museum are different stars in the constellation, they form a single integrated structure connected by pedestrian corridors. Cosmic and natural-scientific motifs are used in landscape park design as well. The project consists of 5 exhibition pavilions with grand-model of Novosibirsk, food courts, multipurpose flat roofing, ground and underground parking, greenhouse, restaurant and hotel. The whole complex together with park and planetarium is considered to be the biggest educational center in Novosibirsk and region, the start-point for study the environment.

[ Graduation project. Competition ] This complex is situated in the center of Novosibirsk. The feature of the situation is the necessity to get integrated into a dense urban part of the city. This project includes 6 residential blocks, offices, shops, gym, kindergarten and center of preschool education, inner yard with playground and underground parking. Thereby residents are provided with all necessary things for comfortable living in the boundaries of walking accessibility. In order to payback of construction project social and economic analyzes were made, according to which was produced the main scheme of required flat types. Besides, as a part of a project construction, engineering and insolation calculations and drawings also were made. All this work approximated designing process to real life conditions and allowed to produce not just a student concept project, but a working document.

‘R/Urban Tops’ Vienna, 2014
[ Group project. Summer university ] The main task of this project was increasing sustainability and energy-efficiency of the existing 50 -year old houses trough reconstruction and additional residential storey on the top. The design idea was an attempt to mix the typology of a single-housing units on the top floors with the collective housing underneath. The functional concept was to put living area to the south, sleeping areas and services to the north, with a splitlevel. In terms of the surrounding, the possible interventions would mean putting the parking spaces underground and use the new-acquired surface for communal affairs, like communal gardening. The existing apartments were given a new layout by removing the middle wall, thus creating a connection between living area and the kitchen, enhancing the cross ventilation, extending the balconies and using the solar energy. A new insulation layer of 30 cm EPS was installed, windows and doors were replaced with more energy-efficient ones (triple glazing). Mechanical ventilation was introduced, with the device of heat-exchanger in the basement. Additional heating was introduced with bio-mass system, with its devices in the basement. Attic storey is made of a light-weight construction (prefabricated timber construction) with good insulation characteristics. For protection from the summer sun, moveable shaders are installed, and the passive solar use was maximized. My contribution: joint creation and development of the main concept, making plans and analyses.

‘Comfort Zone’ Novosibirsk, 2013
[ Group project. Competition ] In this project our main goal was a reconstruction of Sibirskaya street, which is situated in the center of Novosibirsk in a very dense city quarter, to make it more comfortable for living. For the concept idea so-called ‘Comfort zone’ was taken - comfortable space for a person, which is considered as 'mine' by residents. We wanted to spread it from one single house to the whole street. This allows to involve every inhabitant to active city life and excludes the indifference. But every person has its own definition of comfort and therefore, we tried to make interactive city space with rich cultural, functional and informational environment, where everyone can find his place. During our work, a great research was made and it revealed following problems: functional disbalance, poor social life, unreasonable transport connections, composition atomism, a lack of parking spaces. The results were taken into account in our project of reconstruction. reamers of the street

Hotel complex
Novosibirsk, 2013
Multifunctional first-class hotel complex located in imposing district of Novosibirsk with good transport connections. The majority of the territory was given to a public park. The main idea was to separate two fundamental functions: luxury residential area and public services. To achieve this point I have made two main volumes connected with each other on the third floor by the gallery. Besides every functional area has its own entrances from the street. Thereby occasional entry of clients of the public services to a residential area is excluded. The complex consists of residential area (4 types of rooms), restaurant, cinema, swimming pool and gym, spa-studio, conference halls, dry-cleaner's, different services, underground parking and roof garden.

Tiny Studio Novosibirsk, 2015
[ Promo-project. Grigoriev’s studio ] This interior project was made during my work in Grigoriev's studio. It is a promotional design concept for a new building in Novosibirsk. The main task was to include everything necessary for a quality life things into a tiny studio-flat (24 sq.m). The whole area is divided into two main zones (rest and eating) by bar counter. Every centimeter of space performs its functions. In order to expand visual space various types of lighting on different levels were used. All materials and equipment were selected subject to a budget of an average customer.

Kindergarten ‘Fairy Forest’
Novosibirsk, 2014
[ Competition. Grigoriev’s studio ] This is a competition project of kindergarten interior in a new residential quarter in Novosibirsk. According to the requirements specifications the common area of 68 sq.m supposed to be comfortable for a full-fledged staying for 20 children. To solve this problem I decided to use transform furniture, which allowed varying current functions of room depending on a purpose. During 'game'-phase all beds are packed into cupboards along the walls, tables and chairs for children are hidden under the shelves near the window, the whole area is free for playing. During 'education'-phase tables and chairs are placed in the middle of the room. During 'sleeping'-phase beds are opened out, which provides every child with the normal sleeping place. For design concept the idea of a fairy forest was taken: fantastic and nice drawings on the walls imitate a magic land with beautiful and tender animals. Nuance lighting of a relief trees creates wonderful and comfortable atmosphere, like in children's fairytale.

Cafe ‘The 60’s’ Novosibirsk, 2012
[ Interior project. Competition ] The place for this interior project of the cafe is located in an integrated to the historic building pavilion in the center of Novosibirsk. The design concept based on the idea of music cafe, which is devoted to the two most significant music groups of the 60's: The Beatles and Pink Floyd. During my work on this interior, I have made some polls and found out that The Beatles are mostly associated with yellow and white-black colors and cheerful and lively music while Pink Floyd is associated with purple and more gloomy and psychedelic sound. Thereby the floor-plan is divided into two main areas. In the main ' The Beatles' area free and lively atmosphere and light dominate. Here you can find a bar, a lot of places for small companies, shelves for book-crossing - perfect place for meeting new people and informal easy communication. The zone of Pink Floyd is intended for more close and intimate conversations with sofas, dark walls and unusual illumination on the ceiling.

Loft ‘Tomsk star’ Tomsk, 2015
[ Concept project ] This is a concept interior project of a small studio flat for young and ambitious student-girl in Tomsk. The flat is located in a brand-new building on the 7th floor. The main requirements were to make comfortable and modern space for living, studying and parties and not the very high budget of realization. I decided to combine style loft with natural materials. Thus, the kitchen area and niche on the opposite side were covered by white decorative brick, the working zone and entrance have wood siding, the rest of walls plastered with decorative stucco. Light and warm colors dominate, which allows to increase the visual space. Little accents on walls make it more suitable for a nice red-haired girl.

Model making
One of my favorite courses in my studying was a course of model making. I really enjoyed working with different kinds of paper, plastic, wood and etc., creating small models of my projects. I think it is very important to be able to introduce your ideas by this way because then you can visually demonstrate everything you want to say.
