A stage for St. Mary’s in the Wood’s

The fact that it is semi destroyed doesn't mean it must be demolished. I find the building rather fascinating in its current condition. With some repairs and supports of the walls without the roof the old church would be perfect for creating Morley’s own open air theater. It could stage performances or band gigs and even host events like dances or community meetings, during the summer. This way helping save the heritage of Morley and improving the social state in which the town currently is.

Rebirth of the Pavilion The fact that many of Morley’s entertainment venues are closed is one of the reasons the town seems dull. Reopening the Pavilion with the main purpose of a small vintage themed cinema with the availability of a café or a restaurant. With the store on the side opening and selling cinema merchandise or various vintage memorabilia with the spirit of the building. The vacant site on the side of the building could be used to extend the pavilion and its uses, with more cinema saloons a big café and an arcade for the young ones, while still in-between it presents Morley as the town it really is full of hard working people caring for the community. The theme of the café can be in the vintage style of the cinema. The extortion should be elegant and to correspond correctly to the nature of the Pavilion building and the surrounding mills and housing properties.
