We launch our new season with a new-look Gallery. The final section of the auditorium to be refurbished was completed in August making the Gallery, the home of our most reasonably-priced tickets, an even better place to enjoy all the great shows we have in store for you.
Start the weekend by joining our Friday Night Social. We will be hosting themed drinks for ticket holders from 6.15pm on occasional Fridays, in the Royal Circle bar. Ask the Box Office for details. During our dark period in August, we held a series of events in unusual spaces around the Theatre as part of our Out of Hours shows. Highlights included: In the Bellows, puppetry, music and invention performed sub stage; Enchanted Forests, creative workshops to make lanterns and rainbow catchers, which were used in our Enchanted Forest installation outside the Theatre and Twilight Picnic, which saw children enjoying the Enchanted Forest, songs, stories and a picnic in the auditorium.

Deep beneath the Theatre a son and daughter of two different families make an exciting discovery, each other’s existence! They are not alone, as the elders had them believe. As you peer through tiny keyholes, open miniature doors and read teeny notes in secret code, a hidden world is revealed and it’s much bigger than anyone imagined.
Join Peppa as she gets ready to go on an exciting camping trip to the woods with George and her PPA ATG 127x101.indd 1 school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. With lunch-boxes packed and Daddy Pig driving the bus, Peppa and friends are excited about their outdoor adventure, full of games, laughter and live music! A thrilling new production of the most iconic and powerful story in American literature. Set in the trying times of the Great Depression, Of Mice And Men is a powerful portrait of the American spirit and a heartbreaking testament to the bonds of friendship and what it means to be human. This landmark play by the Nobel Prize winner, John Steinbeck, is the story of George and Lennie, two migrant ranch workers who dream of owning their own ranch. Still painfully relevant to modern times, this is a moving story about trying to hold on to your dreams and friendships during difficult times. From the producers of Avenue Q, The Crucible, American Idiot and Flashdance comes this American classic for all time.

photo: kayyoungphotography.com
Starring Rita Simons, Lucie Jones and Bill Ward. The smash hit musical follows sorority sister Elle Woods who, after being dumped, puts down the credit cards and picks up the books to bag herself a place at the prestigious Harvard Law School to try and win her love back, learning that you can be both smart and fashionable. This all-singing, all-dancing, romantic comedy is totally what you want, so bend and snap up your tickets today! Music and Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Book by Heather Hatch Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Motion Picture
Universally regarded as Sir Arthur Sullivan’s most beautiful score, Iolanthe is a topsy-turvy love story between the most unlikely of couples – fairies and members of the House of Lords! Sasha Regan’s all male, award-winning company return with their best-received production. Her inimitable inventiveness, combined with Gilbert and Sullivan’s inherent barminess, make for an unmissable night out. Iolanthe became the fourth consecutive major success for Gilbert and Sullivan. It was the first work to premiere at the Savoy and first new theatre production in the world to be illuminated entirely with electric light!

In 1963 Cliff Richard and The Shadows took off on a joyous jaunt across Europe in a Routemaster 07:01 bus in the film Summer Holiday. This hit-filled musical includes classics such as In the Country, Summer Holiday, Travellin’ Light, Bachelor Boy, Move It, Living Doll, The Young Ones and On the Beach.
