Welcome to Theatre Royal Brighton’s Summer 2018 What’s On Guide... Get ready for an exciting season of star–studded musicals and dramas, children’s shows and dance. Whatever your taste, you’ll be spoilt for choice – we are particularly excited about Crazy for You, Awful Auntie and This is Elvis.

★★★★ ‘THE PRODUCTION IS A DELIGHT.’ THE TIM ES ON CRAZ Y FO R Y O U

GREASE IS THE WORD We were delighted to end 2017 with the ‘No.1 Greatest Musical’ (Channel 4) Grease! The show delighted over 20,000 audience members during its 3-week run and it received rave reviews from the local press. Grease proved to be one of our most successful Christmas shows ever and we look forward to the Rocky Horror Show this Christmas.

CHRISTMAS TAILS 100 Tails of Us was our third Christmas co-production with Brighton-based theatre company Herringbone Arts. Created for 3-7 year olds and their adults, actors and puppets led audiences up and down hidden stairwells and through spaces filled with beautifully detailed, mouse filled installations. These daytime shows included free performances and workshops for selected schools and nurseries in Brighton & Hove, and accessible relaxed performances. Over 1,000 people followed the trail, made a mouse, solved the clues and celebrated friendship, Christmas and cheese!

BE MORE SNAIL Following the success of 2016’s award–winning Snowdogs by the Sea trail, which raised £310k for Martlets and contributed £10m to the local economy, we were very excited to host the launch of Martlets Hospice’s Snailspace trail in October; www.snailspacebrighton.co.uk. The event was held on stage and featured local celebrities including Norman Cook. #BeMoreSnail
