Once there was a time with no mobiles, no online dating and no Facebook, when teenage girls waited with bated breath by the letterbox for their weekly issue of Jackie Magazine. In Jackie The Musical we revisit those heady days, and tell the story of a recent divorcée who seeks advice once more from the pages of her old Jackie annuals. The quizzes, the fashion tips, the ‘do’s and don’ts on first date’ and above all the Cathy and Claire problem pages are all eagerly devoured by our plucky heroine as she revisits the dizzy world of the teen bible. With her ex and a handsome new guy in tow, the valuable lessons she learnt as a girl begin to influence her future and Jackie discovers the one person in control of her life is her. Starring Janet Dibley (The Two of Us, EastEnders, Fat Friends), Olivier Award nominee Graham Bickley (Ragtime, Bread) and Nicholas Bailey (EastEnders, The Archers), Jackie The Musical features classic 70’s hits, played live on stage by a world class band. Thrill once more to the unmistakable sounds of pop idols Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, Marc Bolan and many more. This fun and feisty night out is a must see. Age guidance 12+. ‘A TRIUMPH’ DAILY TELEGRAPH

Fresh from their sell-out hit shows Midnight Tango and Dance ’Til Dawn, Strictly superstars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have created their most moving production yet as they prepare to dance in their final ever theatre tour. Twenty years of dancing together has seen them become Strictly Come Dancing favourites, World Dance title-holders and create and star in their own West End productions - but now it is finally time for the nation’s best loved Argentine Tango Champions to say goodbye to the stage in a thrilling new live performance.

Following the sell-out successes of Ugly Duckling, Three Little Pigs and Elves & the Shoemaker and the TV adaptations for CBeebies, Northern Ballet bring their magic to Aesop’s much-loved fable Tortoise & the Hare. Once upon a time there was a speedy Hare who never stopped talking about how fast he could run. Tired of being teased for his slowness, Tortoise challenged him to a race. No one thought he could win, but life is full of surprises! These child friendly performances last approximately 40 minutes and are the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre.
