BEHIND THE BUSINESS Explore the creative techniques used to plan campaigns and promote the theatre productions that come to the Sunderland Empire. Spend a morning or afternoon session with the Creative Learning team and enjoy an informative tour detailing how the business side of our receiving theatre works, then present ideas back in a fun Dragons Den style workshop, which will provide students with outcomes in creative thinking, problem solving, confidence and communication! Suitable for all ages, popular with Marketing, Business and Travel & Tourism groups at GCSE & BTEC level.

Employability Package Everyone goes through an audition at some point in their life. Performers audition all the time; however a regular job interview can also be an audition, an opportunity for someone to show off their knowledge and skills. Develop confidence, communication skills and learn how to stand out in an interview with our employability workshops and discover how to improve your audition (whatever the role) and maximise your employability in a safe, engaging and fun environment.

Find out more about your favourite theatre with a backstage tour! Learn about the history of our beautiful Edwardian theatre, discover how it works and see the auditorium as the stars do...from the stage!
