EDITOR’S MESSAGE

DOWN UNDER artists

Australia and New Zealand

Hello everyone & welcome to the June edition of our fabulous magazine Artists Down Under.

Isn’t art wonderful, there are so many different forms and styles, something for everyone. That is one of the best things I love about presenting this magazine each and every month to you, we have so many talented artists with so many different syles. It never gets boring when they submit all their amazing images and I classify myself so lucky to belong to this awesome group, and I get to view them all and present them to you.

An artists mind is a strange but wonderful thing, they have the ability to look at things and to turn it into a story, change a bit there, add a bit here ... lol, sounds easy doesn’t it ... I wish.

This month I would like to introduce to you our Featured Artist, Ilona Abou-Zolof. Ilona is a very talented and creative artist and I know you will love what she has for you all.

One of my favourite segments in this magazine is from Andrew Haysom, he has another wonderful and very helpful Photoshop tip for you all to try out. Dean Hohn has shared a very personal Do’s and Dont’s on shooting Still Life Photography, one that will make you both smile and cringe all at the same time, definitely a must read, and another image from the Redlands Digital Group in their Chinese Whispers series.

I hope you enjoy this edition of Artists Down Under. Stay safe and take care of each other.
