Limanakia

A rocky mass overlooking the ocean, Limanakia is a popular destination for both nude sunbathers and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It is accessible by foot from Vouliagmeni.

Legrena

Close to the Temple of Poseidon, Legrena is home to a long expanse of unorganized coast. While the beaches can get busy over the weekends, Legrena is almost empty most weekdays. Locals like to gaze out at the sea over drinks at nearby restaurants, and naturists enjoy tanning out in nude at the pebbly KAPE beach, a section of Legrena.

Ramnounta

To the east of Marathon, the beach at Ramnounta is an ancient site, surrounded by excavation projects (which are fenced off to the public). The remote beauty of its pebble beaches and turquoise waters offer the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Ramnounta is definitely difficult to find, but is a favorite spot for couples and naturists in Athens.

one hour (by car) from the centre of Athens. Looking towards the sea on the right there is a second, nudefriendly beach.

Althea (Skalakia, Agia Marina), Koropi

Immediately after Varkiza, at the beginning of the Municipality of Kropia, you will surely be impressed by this small bay that will remind you a bit of the Cyclades. To get to the beach, you will go down a few stairs. Don’t forget to bring along supplies!

Erotospilia, Porto Rafti

A sandy beach with rocks, shady spots with trees and small caves just one kilometre away from Porto Rafti. If you don't like crowded places, avoid visiting this beachon weekends. There is also a quite crowded beach bar.

Alepochori and Psatha, Vilia, Attica

On the other side of Attica, towards the west, at a distance of about 60 km from Athens. Both beaches are very large, with cool waters, organized areas with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a lot of free space to lay your towel. At the edge of Psatha, you will also find nice taverns with tables on the seashore.

Edem (Paleo Faliro)

The closest beach to the Athenian city centre, Edem is located near the boundary of the districts of Palio Faliro and Alimos, with crystal clear waters and sandy beaches. One of the easiest free beaches to get to via public transportation, Edem is also incredibly charming. Aside from swimmers, you’re likely to see people walking along the romantic seafront promenade or playing against each other on a large chessboard built into the pavement, all enjoying the weather and sea breeze.

Vouliagmeni

Across from the famed Astir beach, the public beach of Vouliagmeni offers a cozier option. With crystal clear waters, rentable daybeds, and a beachside bar, this beach will make the perfect day trip for families and friends alike.
