On the court Compared to other middle hitters, I have an ability to judge the play, read the ball and make quick decisions in the middle. I have confidence with the ball over my head and clean setting hands. I take it upon myself to organize the front row and to bring energy on the court that helps build momentum. My ability to quickly read the opposition’s setter makes it easier to get to the outside and properly form a block. My athleticism gives me an advantage over many big, slow middle hitters as I can quickly and repetitively max jump and then turn in quick transition to get back for a hit without tiring throughout the game.
