Academics High achievement awards: I received many awards at my school. I always get Honour roll, having an 80%+ average and received many athletic awards for various sports teams at my school, such as soccer, squash and rugby. Name of school: Bayview Glen (Private school), to be changed to Hill Academy for grade 11 Year of current education:10 (finished), on to grade 11 for 2010-2011 academic year GPA: Canada does not do GPA’s however my overall average is always above 80% meaning I am an “A” grade student Graduation date: June 2012 School size: Roughly over 500 students Potential major you wish to study: Business or Law is what I would like to go into

Academic Goals I have pretty high standards when it comes to my academic goals. The last few years I have been succeeding at being an “A” student (80%) in my grade 9 and 10 years. However, in my grade 11 and grade 12 years, my academic goals will be changed so I will push myself to receive 85+ and push to become an A+ student. I keep Hockey and my academics on the same level. They are both equal, I don’t put hockey ahead of academics as academics are very important. I want to be the best I can be in both the classroom and on the ice of them. When I’m in the classroom I’m always asking questions and trying to learn as much as possible. I want to keep doing what I am doing but keep adding on to it so I can do the best I can to achieve my new goal of becoming an A+ student which I know I can be even with my rigorous hockey schedule.

I have a gym plan, I work out 6 times a week with NHL and OHL players, I work on everything, I work on upper body, lower body and cardio. We do a lot of intense training and I am on the ice 3-4 times a week in the summer

College Goals When I get to the college level, I want to be a top player on my university team. I want to be the “go-to” guy on the team, the player that will do anything to help his team succeed. I am that type of player who will block shots, sacrifice my body, anything that can help my team in a positive way and becoming better as a team. I also want to be a top player in the NCAA; I want to push myself to be a Hoby Baker Candidate. I know I can do that, I am an offensive player but also on the recent teams I have been on, I have been relied on defensively too. Being put out on the penalty kills and power plays and helping my team get to the top is what I’m about and don’t want to change my style of play but I would definitely want to get stronger and improve my overall game when I get to the college level.

With my Canadian national team experience I know what it takes in order to reach the top level
