Kiril Antanasov I feel that the U.S. Higher Education system is going to be the perfect place for me to grow academically and develop my communication and social skills. The Liberal Arts philosophy is very appealing to me due to the wide range of skills that it provides. In today’s fast changing world it is essential to acquire a range of broadened skills that will help one to become flexible, competitive and adequate to any given situation. It has always been a dream of mine to play basketball in America and to do this in the Collegiate system would be a great experience for myself.

Why should a coach choose you for their team? I am a very unselfish player who works hard for the team. I can hit shots from every spot on the floor. I play the Point Guard position extremely well with good court vision and great passing ability. I recognize myself like a highly coachable player and will be a great fit for the college team.
What makes you different to other athletes? I believe that my basketball skills, which mirror the European style of play, could be a valuable contribution to the college team advancement. I possess the qualities of a natural leader which gives me confidence in tough situations when the game is on the line. I also have an extremely good work ethic.
How hard do you work on your goals? I would sacrifice everything for the sake of achieving my goals.
College Goals I would like to complete BA hons in Psychology and continue playing basketball at professional level.
Life Goals I’m deeply involved in basketball activities and believe that sports is a social instrument that can deeply penetrate into a variety of areas and help one not only enhance professionally but exert its positive influence on the lives of many children and young people. As my favorite coach and life tutor John Wooden says: ”Oh, the great joy there is in helping others, perhaps the greatest joy.”
