Kinrara 7A4, Bandar Kinrara, Puchong For SP Setia Kinrara 7A4 consists 136 units of terraced housing which will be built in four phases; 7A4A, 7A4B, 7A4C, and 7A4D. Due to the challenge of previous approved DO with a number of unique lot sizes, there are a total of 26 units design for the development. Fully involved in designing all unit layouts and facade.

For Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad Affordable housing consisting of 88 units of 2 storey Terrace Housing in Alor Setar. Part of involvement is assisting the Design Director in designing the masterplan and typical unit.

Working Experience July 2019 - July 2020

Graduate Development Program Protege at MRCB. To ensure the execution of the projects are in order, job scope as an Assistant Project Manager for Petaling Jaya Sentral included preparation of SOI by checking drawings and costing, participating in site inspections, CCM and site meetings, plus aiding the architect in the applications for authority approvals. The works displayed are drawings of MYIPO Tower/ Tower 6 where I assisted in crosschecking with other consultants’ drawings and making sure all the requirement by MBPJ was properly shown.

An effort to create a sustainable future by merging urban agriculture into Malaysia’s Food Hub Architecture. Scan for documentary of Rumah Batu Haji Wahid

A Measured drawing group study on a Malay Traditional House for KALAM, UTM. Rumah Batu Haji Wahid is over a century old Traditional House located in Kampung Paya Lima, Beruas, Perak. Although worn down due to age and abandoned, the architectural characteristics of the house are still intact, which prominently shows Hybrid and Neo-Classical Architecture for it’s combination of stone and timber material.

Gaya Senibina Senibina rumah Rumah Batu Haji Wahid yang terletak di Kampung Paya Lima, Beruas, Perak, ialah Senibina Hibrid yang menggabungkan Senibina Kolonial “neoclassical” yang menggunakan batu-bata di tingkat bawah dan Senibina Tradisional Perak yang menggunakan kayu di tingkat atas. Antara keistimewaan Rumah Batu Haji Wahid ialah penggunaan tiang “ionic” neo-classical yang disertakan dengan “lime plaster” bermotifkan flora.

PELAN LANTAI ARAS BAWAH (1965) TIDAK BERSKALA

Cara pembinaan rumah ini pada tingkat atas adalah menggunakan tanggam dan pasak serta sedikit penggunaan paku. Bumbung rumah ini dibentuk sebagai bumbung limas dibahagian ruang anjung dan rumah ibu, manakala bumbung jenis perabung bungkus terdapat dibahagian rumah dapur. Bahan binaan asal bumbung rumah ini ialah genting tanah liat dan ianya telah ditukar kepada atap zink pada tahun 1968.

PELAN LANTAI ARAS ATAS (1965) TIDAK BERSKALA

Rumah ini telah mengalami proses perubahan ruang berdasarkan kegunaan pemilik rumah. Pada asalnya, Haji Wahid telah menjadikan rumah ini sebagai tempat tinggalnya dan tempat untuk mengajar kelas agama. Kemudian, anaknya iaitu Haji Mansor, merupakan seorang usahawan yang telah menjalankan pelbagai jenis pekerjaan. Setelah keluarga Haji Wahid tidak lagi menetap di situ, rumah itu telah disewakan.

Abstract Current Malaysian Architectural scenario features consist mostly of ‘internationalism’ and other Architectural styles. The quest to design a modern contemporary residential building for international residents in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), thus responds to the call for Malaysian National Identity to be adopted in characteristic the proposed design. The design intent uses the theory of bio-mimicry to show how the Malay traditional houses could be adopted for a contemporary form, using Kelarai (weaving) elements that portray one of the Malaysian traditional processes. The current student community has very little integration and social interaction due to the layout of the residences that have no spaces for interaction among students. An observational study and a general survey were conducted on 20 respondents who are currently international students in UTM. The survey questionnaire consists of various questions that can identify what the students need in a residence and also their behaviors. The result was further used to translate the kelarai design process. The outcome of the survey was used to generate the design of the required spaces and planning of the residence for UTM international students. An Architectural concept representing a proposed Malaysian National Identity was developed that weaves the layout of the residence to help integrate international students from various countries with their different characters, cultures and ideas. This is intended to create a diverse community that could live in peace and harmony. The novelty of this research is the induction of a contemporary Architectural edifice that houses international students in UTM; that evolves from one of the bio-mimicry principles using the Kelarai within the design process that translates into a proposed National Identity for Malaysia. A Retreat House Project for AR. Azman Zainal Md Noor in UTM, Skudai. The retreat house reflects the client; Ar. Azman’s characteristics of water element and deep interest in timber and traditional Malay Houses. The layout of the house adapts Fluidity concept that suits the context of the project, which is in front of a lake in the university. Rather than demolishing nature, the design approach of the house envelopes nature, hence preserving it for the benefit of the ecosystem.
